Kathryn Fuller-Seeley expertly presents the life of Francis Ford, from Portland Maine, who was a prolific pioneer in the silent film era as an actor, writer, and director. Directing legend, John Ford, credits his older brother for giving him his start in Hollywood and for being the greatest influence in his own illustrious career. Kathryn Fuller-Seeley is William P. Hobby Centennial Professor of Media History in the Department of Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas at Austin. She is also the author of several books including "Jack Benny and the Golden Age of American Radio Comedy", and "Jack Benny's Lost Radio Broadcasts (2 Volumes). She is currently at work on a book about Francis Ford and Grace Cunard.
