Directing legend, John Ford, credits his older brother for giving him his start in Hollywood and for being the greatest influence in his own illustrious career. Learn about how growing up in Portland, Maine as the son of Irish immigrants shaped Francis Ford and was the launching pad for a his pioneering achievements in the film industry.
    Kathryn Fuller-Seeley is William P. Hobby Centennial Professor of Media History in the Department of Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas at Austin. She is also the author of several books including "Jack Benny and the Golden Age of American Radio Comedy", and "Jack Benny's Lost Radio Broadcasts (2 Volumes). She is currently at work on a book about Francis Ford and Grace Cunard.
    Hosted by Kevin Stoehr (co-author of "Ride Boldly Ride" and co-editor of "John Ford in Focus") and produced by the Maine Irish Heritage Center in Portland, Maine.
