- I unbox the newest Mirka LEROS S wall & ceiling sander!
I have been waiting for an alternative to the standard LEROS for a long time now, which is more compact, and lets you get close to the wall. With a shorter length version now, I'm obsessed with our latest purchase from the guys at GO Industrial.
This has been a huge gap needing to be filled in my tools, between the Deros tackling woodwork and patch prep, to the DEOS Delta for corners and frames, the Leros S is my now go-to random orbital pole sander for all walls, ceilings and floors.

Hi, kick ass vid. I know it's an old video but I've got a mirka deros and delta but looking into getting the leros, would you recommend the leros or the leros s with extension? Can't seem to find a vid with the extension adapter on (I noticed yours hadn't came in this vid). Cheers brother
Dam I’m jealous lol awesome it of gear brother 👌🏻, I could really use that right now just pulled a wall down and at stage of filling and a lot of hand sanding 😩, have a 150mm orbital sander that be ok to use

Hi Josh. Great video. Do u use this to sand between coat when painting? If yes, how do u find it compare to normal pole sanding? Thanks
Hi mate, yes I use before and between coats, works awesome for before coats doing repaints smooths out the walls a lot more than a pole sander, and between costs because sanding first just a light glide over with this is all you need 💯
@@paintingbyjosh People don't realize what a difference it makes sanding between coats if you want a very smooth finish! This would be very nice to have!
if only the joints on the drywall are puttied, how does cope?
Is there any difference in sanding technique or quality between sanding plaster and dry wall with the Mirka?

Don’t find it tiring to use with out the extension? I’m currently all festool but this looks awesome had a demo with it worked great just wondered what it would be like on a larger scale to use
@@brendanm1183 hey Brendan. I find it easier without the extension it's definitely designed to minimise fatigue, feels pretty effortless to use✌️

do you need to put a bag in the vacum or tou can run it with no bag ?? ... thanks
Hi mate, it will definitely still run without a bag but I would recommend using one it will cause problem. Cheers
hello, with respect, I'm reading tutorials about Mircea Leros... I like how you explain but I didn't understand one thing... the sandpaper comes in several sizes... 150 180 200... my model is MIRKA LOROS- S 950 XCV DUAL Voltage 1250 M....please explain how and under what circumstances they are used, thank you from the bottom of my heart with respect🤗👍💪

Hi Zeke, yes the Leros S this one here has the extension attachment I just didn't have it at the time👍
Why does it make a double blow back noise every so often Josh?
Hi Foley, it's the auto clean function on the Vac. Pretty much cleaning itself 👍
Will the mirka hookup with Porter-Cable vacuum.

Nice piece of gear m8 but really not necessary for painters this side of the pond.....if you where on Europe defenently..more for plasterers in Oz
20 years ago l had flex giraffes with swivel heads and all made in Germany actually these are all copies of flex😅

Thanks mate, I run over all my walls with the Iquip ibeami. You get a better finish being closer to the wall. Cheers 🙌

@@drywall-skills they are led head lamps. I go over all my walls UPCLOSE with a LED. Standing back 1.5 meter sanding with a light does not make sense to me. Just my opinion of course. cheers for watching mate
