I dont know about you but it seemed to be one of those tiger shark trainers used to train new pilots in the service, but in the 1960s they had the Harrier that had the capability for VTOL during the Viet Nam War.
It was interesting to see that the jet pilot wasn't wearing a g - suit or oxygen, that helps you to breathe and reduce the risk of passing out at the controls whilst flying at high altitude or high g maneuvers. Hawke stopped Fortune Teller working by forcing the fighter into a steep climb, then into a dive, and causing the jet to almost stall. The pilot would've by this point been feeling the effects of GILOC (G Induced Loss Of Consciousness). It starts with dizziness and nausea, then proceeds to loss of vision and finally; consciousness. Consciousness returns quickly, but seizures can occur for a few minutes afterwards. It can take a few hours for full motor control to return and be able to fly again. GILOC is dangerous because it can cause an aircraft to crash, even a 2 crew fighter craft doesn't make it safer because that fighter might not necessarily have dual controls for the rear crew members. The only option available in case of pilot incapacitation would be to shoot out a MAY DAY call and punch the ejection button.
You can tense your chest muscles they can buy you a few minutes. I used the trick doing air combat USA. It lets you pull harder Gs without a suit. Now Blue Angels pilots fly without the g-suit but that’s cause they need to use parts of their bodies to brace the stick off of sometimes
Ok, the FIRM needs to get out of the military hardware business! Everything that they conceive gets stolen. Airwolf. Airwolf II. HX-1. LOKI. Fortune Teller. Seriously, stop building stuff...😅
And it's usually the FIRM employees stealing the hardware to sell on the black market. And everybody knows, when MOFFETT built AIR WOLF,everything went to HELL!
@@johnlockyer85, but I bet because Archangel was involved in its recovery, that meant the Firm sanctioned it. I guarantee you they were involved in its creation somehow!
Smell it, you'd definitely be sitting in it climbing to 10,000ft, diving and levelling out at 1500 ft. The look on archangel, hawk and cait's face said it all. A sort of "We're alive, we made it."
This thought maybe out of place...But one the things I most expected and wanted to see was the day(s) Marella would get to actually ride with her beloved "Lady"! I always wondered why they never had that happen as much as she supported and loved Airwolf. Or even feature her and Caitlin teaming up in action!?!
Hawk is too good that guy and the fortune teller device no match for hawk and dom that fortune teller device is still just a device and the pilot was never going to beat hawk and airwolf no way no one can
I Also like your channel has anyone pointed out the gastly mistake in this episode of Airwolf The Plane Is A North American F5 Freedom Fighter in no way was this ever capable of virtical take off also this plane didn`t even go supersonic. It was a primary training aircraft although it could be armed. there was a later version of this plane that was the F20 Tigershark however this only got to prototype and didn`t see production. Still Enjoyable.
The F-5 was capable of supersonic speed. It's max speed was Mach 1.6, or about the same as a modern F/A-18 or F-35. It had no VSTOL or STOVL capability, but it could operate on short runways or even paved roads. That and its price made it pretty popular among smaller air forces. As far as armament, it had two 20mm cannon, and it could carry any contemporary missile or bomb, or it could be fitted with rocket pods. It was even nuclear-capable. You're thinking of the T-38, an advanced trainer derived from the F-5.
'No machine could ever replace a good pilot! ' love this quote.
But yes, the VTOL jet surprises me .

I like your channel man, especially the airwolf battle scenes, thanks for this. :)

Also he stalls on the way down not up which I don't think you can. But its still fun

4:09 Ohh, too bad! Looks like Fortune Teller has just suffered an overload!
Ok, the FIRM needs to get out of the military hardware business! Everything that they conceive gets stolen. Airwolf. Airwolf II. HX-1. LOKI. Fortune Teller. Seriously, stop building stuff...😅
A Big lol from 2020
Everything the firm design string has either taken and hidden or blown to pieces
And it's usually the FIRM employees stealing the hardware to sell on the black market.
And everybody knows, when MOFFETT built AIR WOLF,everything went to HELL!
HX-1 wasnt created by the Firm
@@johnlockyer85, but I bet because Archangel was involved in its recovery, that meant the Firm sanctioned it. I guarantee you they were involved in its creation somehow!
The sequence introducing Stringfellow Hawke in the pilot was like the Firefox opening

3:39 Alright, let's dance!
Airwolf is the best.
Fortune teller reminds me of those Thinking Cap helmets they had in Robotech that the Veritech Pilots wore!
Yeah but the tech there was meant to help the pilot not run the craft
3:26 In that case, sheriff, let's see, what your fancy toy can really do.
4:31 So much for high-tech toys! Never trust a machine to do the man's job!
T-38: "I have to go now. My planet needs me"
3:26 Oh yeah? Well, go ahead, pilgrim, make my day!
😅😅😅well information good show you 😅😅
The original self drive 😊
3:39 Let's rock!
Fortune teller had one weakness, it relied on the persons mind, pull a g-force in a plane made him blank out, never let a machine do anything.
i miss the 1980s
Un 10 para esa escena 👍👏😘
1:55 😂😂
Anyone ID that verticle lift jet or was it a mockup for the show? Its certainly not a Harrier.
Looks like a forced perspective shot of a model.
The Mig 28 also is a VTOL, and it has a thought controlled weapons system. You must think in Russian.
an F5 tiger that's VTOL and sounds like Kitt from Night Rider 😂
T-38 but yeah
This thought maybe out of place...But one the things I most expected and wanted to see was the day(s) Marella would get to actually ride with her beloved "Lady"! Always viewed Marella as the FIRMs version of BlackWidow, but wearing white. Expert spy/assassin/pilot.
It's the Ladys time 😁👍
More like Hawke and Dom being pissed about their friend getting kidnapped
Interesting to see that Jet had no vectored thrust capability. Oh well. Still cool.
Me encanta la serie
I love this show
Does anyone know what the letters F.I.R.M. mean or stand for?
It was never mentioned in the show. It's thought to be an in-joke for "The Company" which is a nickname for the CIA.
you can watch Airwolf on Paramount channel in the UK 🇬🇧
season 1 started early this morning
Hawk is too good that guy and the fortune teller device no match for hawk and dom that fortune teller device is still just a device and the pilot was never going to beat hawk and airwolf no way no one can
Aashesh paul I agree with that
could agree more best series !
The Soviet FIREFOX has a thought-controlled weapon system but ther Fortune Teller is better
Wanna bet? That system is absolete. And there was no Firefox, either.
4:09 What's the matter, pal? Getting brain overloaded?
夢の自動システムハイテク戦闘機対最新鋭ヘリコプター
Capitulo name? Please? Airwolf vs ?
Hmm. Kind alike a U turn move.thumb up

Yes, I noticed that as well, but as they say "dramatic license".

You mistook the F-5 for the T-38 talon. The T-38 is a mid level jet training aircraft
So all I have to do to beat the Fortune Teller is loop the loop?
lmao well if the F-5 can use hacks and hover like that a loop hack should be able to take it out.
what F5 vtol
F5 Anti gravity, when it blew up i'm surprised it didn't cause a black hole.
4:30 So much for your fancy weapon. Now, let's see how good you are without your toy.
1:28 And just pray tell me, how come that jet has become V/STOL? I don't see any lift-off engines! Who designed this shit anyway?
Airwolf.thumb up.
Niether the F5 nor the T38 are capable of VTOL If you can show me evidance of this then i`ll be very suprised.
1:48 to 2:00 Are you serious!?
You know, I love what you've done, and I'm thankful for it, but PLEASE run your titles past an english major before printing them!
Tesla Autopilot
español please
Tv curb appeal
IMHO, Season 3 was a waste, the scripts where sub-par and with Debroah Pratt gone from the series, it lost its edge...
