Great video. That second color with the Marsh Grass/Amber laminate turned out amazing. That would look great in just about any mold. Never fished tubes much. This has sparked my interest. Thanks for sharing.
Excited to see this, as I'm getting ready to do some tube dipping for the first time in the coming week. I've collected more than a few interference & colorshift pigments, and I'm thinking of "blacking out" a number of pucks in a presto pot for the initial dip of the tube and following that with a body dip of things like Lavish Party (red/violet/gold colorshift) & my green-to-cyan colorshifts, etc etc. I'm really interested to see how that will work, having that initial dip be black should make those colorshifts pop.
Culprit used to make a color called grasshopper in their 7 in worm. Didn't know if you could try it for a video. It was a greenish worm, with red, gold flakes. Maybe some other color flakes too.
Great video. In the past I would buy and use Rattlesnake brand tube baits that I bought from Kmart, it had a black back and a silver belly. I caught so many fish on that color. I think you can do better than a simple black and silver. Anything resembling a baitfish would be awesome in a tube bait
Tube color recommendations???
Those looked really great and I think a goby colored tube bait would not be a bad one to make.
How about red white & blue for the 4th, red & white tentacles with blue & white swirl tube
Spotted bay bass colors, black and orange with lime flake, cut tail, instead of split, lol
Green watermelon top with purple highlight bottom. Kind of baby bass with a purple hue.
Dark Cinnamon with purple and copper flake has always been a go-to tube color for me!!
@@N2TW_customlures I think split tails would be cool too
Thanks for posting this one Chris! Like the comparison/contrast between tube molds.
Appreciate the support
You have the plastic bait making down to all most a science! The baits are fantastic!
Thanks..we have fun with it
Classic CJ presentation! Great compare and contrast. Mean Green bonus color build - saving the best for last! Thanks
@@chuckpeck8323 mean green is legit haha

Yeah that color is one for every mold
Fire craw is my favorite pattern to see in any bait

@@Psychoti dipping is fun and challenging
Man the busted up scaling swimbait you showed at the beginning was amazing
Love these videos. My favorites will always be hand poured swimbaits. Match the hatch.
I do like the swimmies
Another great job

Really like the throwback color. Would be cool to resurrect some more

Sounds like a good color
I think that mean green would look awesome in a tube or a swimmer
@@kurtkas8625 definitely
Do another remelt meltdown vid they are great
June bugs and puke tube colors are very nice. Your amber is close to puke tubes.
Puke???? Lol
Is AI planning on making a pan fish size tub bait mold? It would be awesome to have that spline set up in a smaller bait.
Thanks for sharing with us.
@@tonymcnatt5077 they did..I have an entire video on it!
Skillit 190 Tube Mold, it's on their website. It's 1.8", pretty good panfish size. I'd love a 1.5" myself, but 1.8" is very workable.
@@WorldsWorstFishing I'll look for that. Thanks
That mean green would be great in a ribbon tail
@@anselaustin166 it is!!! Used to make a TON of those
Tube's are my #1 soft bait. I do make a lot of different baits though. I still can't get the darn bot worm to laminate well.
Injection bot?
Blue craw

Bass pro tomatoe red/ black flake...rockfish killer
@mikejohnson-r2s very interesting..not a color I would have thought of
Think it works because they feed on shrimp a lot...I havent had a chance to try and match the color yet and pour in the new AI 4" tube mold.
Do tube's in mean green RF! Those tails would be killer.
