Amazing that a completely unnannouced out-of-the-blue episode has better animation than Spyro vs Toothless which we waited over a year for.
Obvious shade thrown, but I appreciate the compliment. This episode seems out-of-the-blue because I’ve been working on it for a great length of time, causing AR to never exactly officially announce it, and I can understand why. I’ve been inactive on the team for a while, and they’ve got their own baggage to worry about right now. Regardless, I appreciate your compliment and I hope that you continue to support his channel as positively as you can so that he can continue pouring passion into his content.

The animation was good but it feels slow at some points. Otherwise this was pretty good
I have a bad habit of animating with too little frames which make the animation, when rendered, look incredibly sped up. To combat this I often need to slow down the file in post so that it feels more natural.

@@RewindRumble, who voices the Announcer and what are the Character Select Themes of Fatal Conflict? (One of them is the E3 version of Lifelight from Smash Bros. Ultimate and another is the Planet Wisp Map Theme from Sonic Colors, but I don’t know the rest).

I knew spoilers! Nazo was gonna win! I mean it took hyper shadic to defeat Nazo I mean that’s sonic and shadow fused and they still barely defeated Nazo!

To be completely fair here:
Nazo was a match for the Super forms of Sonic and Shadow in his base form.
Even with 4 emeralds, Metallix (SMBZ Mecha Sonic) could only match Starman pseudo-super forms.

Maybe Metallix vs. Perfect Nazo would've been a fairer fight.
As soon as Matallix shows feats that can rival two superforms while in his base state, like Nazo did, then maybe, but that's pure speculation at the moment.
@@22kingdomheartsfan Yeah, so far out of all the Metallix vs. fan animations I've seen he's only fought super form variations- like Dark Super or Hyper. The one time he did fight two opponents at once he was nerfed down to match their base forms (Sonic and Shadow). His best feats are giving Shadic and Hyper Sonic a good fight, so perhaps he can match Perfect Nazo with his own super form.
@@jaeda6th Yeah I don't know where you are getting those ideas, but neither of those things happened in SMBZ or its reboot version, so again, until Meltallix gets more feats, nothing says if the fight would be fairer or not
@@22kingdomheartsfan I was speaking of his fan animations. It's going to be a _long time_ before we see him again (4~ years) in SMBZ, so why only use Mecha's base feats? Putting him against Nazo is a horrible mismatch if that's the case.
@@jaeda6th A mismatch, but its also meant to be an iconic match up, featuring characters from two INSANELY popular fan made series. That's why this match is a thing.
Also: If you put outside from his own series feats, then you'd have to do the same for Nazo, it would not be fair other wise, and I'm betting there are plenty of fan animations of Nazo fighting people beyond what he did in his series.

eh the only thing that really bothered me was the fact that mecha sonic was able to stay in his super form for an extended amount of time with only four chaos emeralds but other than that i very much enjoyed this fight and i also agree with who the victor was. thx for the great animation
But in smbz Mecha sonic only lost super form because super sonic and Mario hit him.

I knew Mecha was going to lose as there aren't enough canon feats to have him remotely come out on top. A semi super can't compete with a hyper equivalent. But I am so glad they did Mecha's semi super justice though. It's literally my second favorite fight with it, right behind the Axem Rangers X fight

Hours and hours of passion poured into animating hedgehogs and robots don’t appear to be shells of anything to me.
@@leviboypopop I don't mean the animation. I feel like the research has gotten worse over the years. I'm not saying that the outcome of this match is inaccurate or anything but long ago AR used to have a post analysis where he talked about all the character stats like strength, speed and durability, he also used a lot of calculations to back those stats up and now he Just kinda shows that one character is faster and doesn't even mention other stats.

They were talking about Sonic and Mecha Sonic fighting underground and moving so fast that time was halted. The episode where they become the original sprites from Mario and Sonic's first games.
Angel Mendoza ... That... was a slow motion effect... It doesn’t even *remotely* imply they stopped the planet. By that logic, the Slo-Mo Guys stop the planet on a regular basis.

Angel Mendoza It actually just occurred to me that they compared base form Mecha to Perfect Nazo throughout the analysis and never took Emerald Power multipliers into account (heck they didn’t even use Metallix during the fight), so maybe it was rigged from the start?

Nazo is not fan made! He is an official Sonic character and was supposed to be the main antagonist in Sonic X which is where he was supposed to debut! Mecha Sonic isnt fan made neither

I need help to understand why mecha sonic loses the 4 emeralds at 8:59 but nazo is actually perfect nazo and possessed all.

Nazo hit Mecha so hard, he lost the Emeralds.
Mecha Sonic has lost four emeralds before in his semi-super form, and Perfect Nazo is more than powerful enough to punch them out of him.

The "I am perfect" leaves ambiguity as to who is who.
Nazo should’ve Oneshotted him, he took on two Super Forms in Base, Mecha Sonic didn’t even have all the Emeralds in SMBZ and struggled with Base Sonic and Shadow. He won but I still prefer Accuracy. Happy 4th Of July.
