Amazing to see Darwin from afar(currently living in England) Incredible how few people there are in such a stunning location!
    Curious Qs:
How do you deal with not getting sunburnt?
Have you found there to be a sizeable market for Pilates and Pilates instructors in Australia (Sydney/Brisbane/Sunshine coast areas)?

      Glad you enjoyed seeing Darwin!
Regarding the sunburn, always factor 50, a big hat and loose, cover-up clothing.
I live in Sydney, and Pilates is extremely popular here (I've been looking into joining a class recently). Health and fitness in general is huge in Australia, so I'd imagine you'd have decent demand as an instructor.

My family and I were debating options for a mid year holiday recently and Darwin was one of several. Darwin was the first to be eliminated mainly for financial reasons v a bigger trip at the end of the year to Europe. Thanks to you Lisa, it now looks so much more appealing then I had imagined it and it has risen up my list of places to visit substantially. We did visit there in 2008 on the way to Kakadu but I wasn't as creative and open minded then to enjoy it. I really enjoyed visiting there with you Lisa. I love all your details, stories like hanging out with a friend so please keep doing things exactly as you would. Thank you so much for taking us along, much appreciated!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it Marta! I mainly wanted to go as it's the only territory and state capital I haven't covered on my blog, but it was so much fun!
I managed to get very cheap flights in the Jetstar sale just before Christmas, otherwise it would have been a much more pricey trip.
It's worth going though and there's a lot more to see than what I've covered.
Thanks for continuing to watch my videos and write lovely comments. It's always nice to know that people are enjoying them.

I loved your video. I live in Darwin and you captured the essence of the place. Your video is also technically very good. What camera and other equipment did you use? Thank you for your efforts.

I really enjoyed watching your trip to Darwin. It looks beautiful there :) I'm from the UK but live in Adelaide but still yet to visit anywhere else in Australia! Maybe Darwin can be 1st on my list after watching this :)
