Holy shit! thank you so much!!! It's extremely appreciated 😁 I'm glad the video helped you understand the currency exchange better, hopefully we get to keep it.
@@jokerkhrono yes, and this is why it's needed. People have been asking for an exchange for about a decade, and they always hesitated before this league
@@joeanon8568Honestly, I think they should make it work like the OSRS Grand Exchange, where there's a 1% tax on trades, and after enough currency is accumulated to pay for an item, it is removed from the game.
This is quite obvious. The thing that holds most normal players back is gold. I've been playing a lot (4h a day or something) and I still haven't fully upgraded my town. So it doesnt make sense to calculate these profits without accounting the gold. So when you made "700 of harvest currency profit" to me you bought that for xxxx gold
I'm sorry, but there are several issues with this statement: 1.Just because something might seem obvious to you doesn't mean it's obvious to others. 2.You said you played a lot, but then mentioned 4 hours or so, which is significantly lower than the amount of time the average poe player plays. 3.You can accomplish the same thing using the bulk trading site, so gold doesn't really factor into it at all.
@@jokerkhrono 1. True. I shouldn't have said it was plain obvious. But GGG made it super intuitive. Mainly after you learn about holding ALT to see the main counter offers. 2. I honestly think 4h/d is already above average. Last leagues, I played much less, but I've been too excited about this one. People playing 6h.. 8h+ a day are the 1%, not the casual players imo. I couldn't find this data, just a feeling from having a fulltime job and not that much free time to play. 3. True. but then it wouldn't be passive income, like you said. I like your video. Doing currency flipping is great, if you already are in the end-endgame. Just wish that was mentioned in the video. Like, I would not recommend doing that if you still have to upgrade things like Shipping, Farming, Mapping
@@Anderson.BillySilva 1.I'm not sure about that. I've made a couple of videos about the currency exchange, and the general vibe has been that people are avoiding it because they aren't sure how it works. 2.I wasn't able to find data for average player hours either, but I've always been under the impression that most Path of Exile players grind incredibly hard, with many having hundreds, if not thousands, of hours per league. I do know that recently, with all the QoL improvements GGG has put out and the general rise in arpg popularity, there has been a significant increase in newer and more casual players. So, you may be right about the average casual player doing around 4 hours a day, but I'm not sure if that's the minority or the majority of players. 3.Buy and sell orders on bulk trade are actually quite easy to set up for passive income. I have videos from previous leagues showing how I've made hundreds of divines while playing other games with poe in windowed mode at the edge of my screen. As for Kingsmarch itself, I don't think it's in the best state right now, and I don't recommend players upgrade it. To avoid saying negative things about it, I've just been avoiding talking about it. but i do appreciate the feedback 😁
@@jokerkhrono Yeah, in the end, what matters is having fun. I'll definitely use your tips after maybe a week or so from now. My main goals are the league challenges, so I want to finish upgrading the city first to do things like the T14+ mappers challenge. Thanks for taking the time to respond and making helpful videos for the community
@@Anderson.BillySilva I 100% agree that fun is the most important thing, and I'm happy to help where I can, especially since I know there are a lot of new players coming to PoE and I know one thing that turns them away is how complex it is but I hope you achieve all your goals this league.
Dude thank you so much! Watching this video actually taught me how to really work the currency exchange!!! Buying and selling! Now I get it!

Thank you. I’m gonna check this out when I get home. It’s my first league
no problem hope it helps😁its a pretty good time to start playing since ggg has given us alot of QOL we didnt have before
This is why the exchange needs a gold tax
