I saw your question mark on ALTH while you lifted it up in that mode - it is the intended behavior, I guess. Works the same way in Ardupilot too. You can still increase or decrease altitude at a slower smoother rate with throttle control. It is a nice feature. Position hold (Loiter mode) also has the same capability.
Thanks, i'm not familiar with Ardupilot only INAV and BF....at the question mark POSH wasnt active (as i have a GPS without magnetometer i need to fly around a bit first for it to get it's position...thanks for watching :)
Lol my XT60 is coming out the front and I forgot to tuck it away properly I don't normally use a Gopro and when i do i just strap it on top of the lipo
yes you need GPS for best results, if you want altitude hold without GPS there is a cli command to tell BF to use the Baro and not the GPS for Althold. All the info you need is on the Github link.
For Alt-hold you don't need a GPS technically. But not sure if BF relies on the altitude information from GPS too, coupled with Barometer reading, doing some sort of sensor fusion to calculate altitude more accurately.
This is deff something im looking forward to on my LR builds. Glad to see testing going good.
Yeah bro, trying to implement a sort of ''cruz'' mode so in altitude hold mode you will still be in ''acro'' and not ''angle''
Thanks for testing theses features on a video. i'm currently using iNav, will give it a try with BF4.6.
Nice! I've not had much luck with INAV on Drones
@WindjumbieFPV woops, I use INAV on my 7inch quad, works great 😃
Nice video. Just started my fpv journey here in Trinidad with analog tinywhoops.
Hey, thanks for watching...that is a good way to start, good pilots over there too to help you along on your journey
@@WindjumbieFPV really? I actually don't know if any other FPV pilots here
@@stefans7745 DM me on socials, i could link you with them.
Niiiice bruh. Thats awesome man

Hi what Spray paint or Which colour did you use on Tbs source one v5 frame? Thanks!
sand and prep the carbon, use white primer then your desired color then a clear coat on top, i used GWorx spray paint.
Your frames look really nice. Do you paint them? Is it durable?
Yes GWorx spray paint and clear coating afterward helps with durability
thank you for testing, will update my long range build with BF 4.6 and try it as well
Thank you for watching, I can't wait for the official release of 4.6, much improvement
Put INAV on it much better for long range
why is your power lead visible in the camera?

for alt hold do we need GPS?? I know for posHold GPS is required..

Wow nice, does it have altitude hold?
Yes it does, you can see in my DVR that i have altitude hold just before position hold, they are on a 3pos switch on the same aux channel.
@ Damn it I am used to Ultra and bf seems like a mountain to me😅But alt hold is definitely interesting 🧐
@@mikexfpv753 Does KISS have RTH? i know nothing about that FW
@@WindjumbieFPV Yeap it has rth & rth when rx loss👌
it will be great on LR drones....
yes this is my LR drone, i was just testing the feature
do we need magnetometer for poshold on bf 4.6?
no, i do not have a mag on this GPS
Wow.. i thought BF 4.6 only has ALT HOLD. I need to reflash with custom define then
I did some more testing and it works perfectly, just follow the instructions on GitHub
Is it official release?
No, it's Development build
@ please make a video showing how to do it
