- Big waves will continue to pound the San Diego coast Friday morning. As the Pacific storm system exits, coastal flooding will be a concern. The Ocean Beach Pier remains closed.
The passage of this system has prompted hazardous conditions out on the water, according to the National Weather Service.
High surf warnings are in effect in San Diego coastal areas until 6 p.m. Friday and a coastal flood advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday.

You should have seen what happened to the Homeless tents by the Ocean Beach pier
Hahaha
Salt Water cleanse.
The homeless are violent and ignorant in San Diego.
It’s crazy anyone can be homeless
@@lossiiburns but mostly it's habitual losers that have been screwing up since the 1980's and 90's, and those worthless ANTIFA terrorist punks who were tossed out of the house.
OMG! I used to hang out at Mission Beach every day. Prayers to those who suffer.
It's happens here in San Diego some years. 1983 was particularly this way.
'
very beautifully natural cloud pour heavy haily / rainy in san diego and floody...
keep continue rainy until dec 2023
I would wear the kelp as a wig and do the commentary with the underwater effect on my voice 😛
My favorite beach
Hope it gets professionally cleaned up by Monday
And it wasn't too long ago that the beach sand had eroded to the level it was when the wall was built, the sand would be almost 20ft below where it is now.
happens often with a storm or rip
It’s sad to see what happens when you don’t maintain
The ocean side of the wall has a splash back hip/bump about three feet down and had been improperly covered too high with sand.
I'm not saying there would be zero flooding, but the city sand maintenance is done incorrectly and was some degree of responsible for the wall not doing it's job
Yes I recall the past big swells and high tides causing flooding and mid 80s spectacular splashing wasaaaay overhead. There was a picture of it in my first job in Pacific Beach.
Yeah, that would easily hold back the Pacific Ocean when it gets wild.
Lol he's stressing the safety measures while focusing on the pregnant lady who is present!
What's happening at Coronado beach pier?? During this rain storm, 2023??? Any reporters on the scene to say ANYTHING??? Does any of this have to do with something having to do with the moon??
I was there in 87 when this happened
no you weren't. I was there and didn't see you.
@@DCfurnfe-vp1mz I was on San Juan and Ocean Front Walk and you were not there. Shorty was though
@@MrJSpicoli Nope thats where I was, I remember asking "Is Larry Dallas here" and everyone said "no, he heard a big swell was coming and got scared so he left town"
@@DCfurnfe-vp1mz I knew Shorty. you didn't
@@MrJSpicoli Shorty and I were best friends. he said he stopped being friends with you when you tried to kiss him
Maybe not rain but storms!
There was two boats in the jetty was trying to go out to sea but freaked out and turn around they stop ignoring the warning signs when the saw the 12ft waves😂
People posting that they've been there their whole life and never seen anything like this hogwash the place flooded in the late '80s the early nineties and 2012
yeah it did.
Confirmed
Climate change. Over time this will increase.
Look at all of them not caring about the garbage 🙄 standing around like bumps on a log completely useless
Ikr!! Pick up that garbage can!!
Exactly. Zombies.
I lived there 4 years what a bunch of empty people. Empty head empty heart empty gut ,worthless like you said
They should move it somewhere else.
Pick up the trash barrel move it so it doesn't get left as garbage on the beach 🙄
there's another huge storm coming in a couple of days. it would be completely useless to do it right now. they are not going to leave it trashed once the storms have passed 🙄
@@robynvan5123 apparently you have never lived there and I have AND I KNOW THEY DONT BECAUSE IVE PICKED UP GARBAGE MYSELF 🙄
You picked it up all by yourself?? Have you seen the "clean up" video that I just seen? Im sure the trash was still there from the 1987 storm because you forgot a few pieces.
Get rid of the unwanted, uninvited, non local Homeless
The surging surf at least cleaned the beach.
The news isnt saying pollution is coming up from Mexico like no one has ever seen before 😄
Always laughing at you idiots that are saying this shit.. two major cities are blaming a tiny Town like Tijuana for the pollution what a joke
Lot's of Pollution coming from Mexico, some just walks right in
That’s because it isn’t happening dum dum. It’s a northwest swell. Which means the long shore current is flowing south, TOWARDS Mexico.
@@haveaday1812 They’re not entirely wrong. Every time it rains, the sewage from the Tijuana river spills over to San Diego beaches.
Ik bby I see it
Now San Diego Has A Sale On Water Beds 🛌 🌊 🤪 lol
Good way to clean up the homeless & trash.
They thought it was fashionable to build close to water, now they are getting what they thought will never happen ?
Ummm this happens a lot more than YOU think. This is not the 1st time nor will it be the last. This is exactly what they think of when building 👷♂️at any beach location. Sounds to me like your jealous!
Nowhere is the media explaining the astronomical fact: the new moon is coinciding with the moon's closest approach as such in over 1,300 years. But don't follow the science ..... buffoons.
Kelp n seaweed is not litter ... Jesus Christ is coming, Gods wrath! Amen
Waves of judgement
Great observation.... The media so full of educated people NOT🙄
Yeah, kelp and sand and sea life and fish and oh yeah, water. Move along, nothing to see here, just California leaving the continent!
God. San San Diegons are so spoiled. Lol. We will rebuild!!
