Kenji, I have to start by stating how incredibly accurate the details are on this. You don't need me to tell you how much effort that took, but it is visible in every section. This is truly spectacular. I acquired the #43 Mike Baldwin superbike from American Honda in the mid 1980s, and had it for about 20 years. Eventually, American Honda asked if I'd let it come back home, and the Collection Hall in Japan bought it from me in the end. I also acquired many spare parts, built friendships with many of the Team Honda mechanics from that period, and have a pretty deep knowledge of these machines. What you have done here is magnificent. That word is not good enough, but it's the best I have to offer.
I've been staring at your comment for about 30 minutes. Unbelievable! I'm so happy. I made it just because I love it, but I'm delighted to receive such appreciation. Thank you so much.
I have watched many of your previous projects and I have always been amazed by your skills. But somehow this is different. Achieving such detail using plastic plates and rods and metal, the precision of fit and finish, and the accuracy to the original is stunning. You are a true teacher and an inspiration to us all. Thank you for that
You have done a beautiful job on this model, it looks like you could start the engine, and ride it. This must have taken months of dedicated work, thank you for sharing this masterpiece of a model. Excellent work.
Wow Kenji! you built so many parts for this. Your customization is the best, and my favorite. It's fun that you put this in the middle of the Lotus build. the working parts on this are awesome. Thank you for the member photos. People should join your channel to see these exciting previews. Thank you for your hard work Kenji, and take care
@@kenji-plasticmodels I’m glad you like that kind of work because it’s my favorite to watch. I love all your work, but the CB is over the top! I hope that your channel keeps getting more popular. I enjoy the membership. Thank you Kenji
In the final reveal, I found myself looking at the real thing… your skill and ability are amazing - you should be proud of your work. Thank you for sharing.
This is extraordinary! What a labour of love. The majority of people who saw this completed model would have no idea of the time, effort and customisation that has gone into it.
I don't have the right words but I'll go with a choice few. Absolutely Amazing. If you are able to answer a few questions if you have time one day. 1 Are you self taught these skills? Also would you if paid do a model on commission? I am gobsmacked at the detail level and your skillset. Thank you for sharing these builds. All the way from New Zealand 👍
Watch this one as getting this model this week for tips on making a 4 into 1 exhaust and handlebars ...etc , the trouble is he's so good im not skilled enough to replicate what he does ...(lol) unbelievably talented work ....
An amazing build and at 1;6 scale, although it is bigger than usual you have to be more accurate because things notice more. From the final pictures I doubt if I could tell the model from the real bike.
I made this a long time ago and enjoyed it by hand. Now that 3D printers have become commonplace and prices have come down, I would like to have one someday.
@@kenji-plasticmodels I used to have a bunch of pictures of the 1972 Kawasaki Z1 that Pops Yoshimura built for Eddie Lawson to race in AFM Open Production here in California. In 1976 the AMA copied that formula to create AMA Superbike. His bike was so cool because it was obviously built by one guy in a small shop with a limited budget and no attention paid to cosmetics! They hauled it to the races in a well used Ford Econoline that had been an ambulance.

Outstanding work! Always a joy to watch a master's craftsmanship. Thank you

I'm so happy that you've seen so many videos. thank you😃

One of the most remarkable builds I've ever seen on you tube. Amazing!
Thank you very much. I am happy.
Check out my other videos, I'm sure you'll love them!
WOW !!!!! Such a joy to watch this absolute masterpiece come together, thank you for sharing Kenji.
Thank you!✨👍
It’s intense. You started with a kit but it’s not a kit build at all. 👏 Anyone ever suggested that you cut corners?
Thank you, I try my best to avoid cutting corners whenever possible😃
May I say yours is the one of my top 2 favourite modelling channels.
Your work is simply superb. I look forward to many more.. thank you..
Thank you!😊

Kenji-san you are perfect.......
Thank you, I am very happy. I will strive for perfection.
It's amazing how precisely you make these small details.
I like !
Thank you!!
Buenos dias compañero bravo otra motocicleta ✌️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦

Thank you! Large scale is very difficult.
Work becomes big.
Have you ever consider using 3d printer so you wouldn't have to scratch build everything?
I made this a long time ago and enjoyed it by hand.
Now that 3D printers have become commonplace and prices have come down, I would like to have one someday.
I admire your creativity in finding modelling solutions. Very inspiring and ineresting aspect of your work.

I've never seen anything like that before, outstanding.
Thank you!!
Definitely you are the best!! I loved the result.

Thank you😊
TBH this channel is addicting and intimidating (for me)😄😄
Thank you so much, I look forward to seeing you every day!🤣
Un trabajo absolutamente increible!! Fantástica la atención al detalle.
Gracias!
Absolutely brilliant. So many parts from scratch in great detail
As you can see, it was very difficult to make the parts.
It is also a challenge to fit those parts exactly together.
I saw Freddie win on this bike at Daytona. This is amazing. You absolutely captured the sort of one of a kind/handbuilt feel of the original!
Really? ! That's amazing!
