I just got one of these kits from Japan for $94. It's my 4th Tamiya 1/6 scale motorcycle. The other ones are the Yamaha dirt bike, Harley Super Glide, and Harley Police Bike. These kits are amazing!
Very nice details on that kit. I had a 1981 CB650. The engine looked very close to that engine. My neighbor had an older CB750 Four with the 4 mufflers. It was a super bike for the mid 1970's.
Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to see one in reality, although I would like to. Yes, this kit, even if it is an older one, is sufficiently detailed. I like it very much.
Have built quite a few of these, the hardest part was putting the moving chain together, other parts were grooved then glued and levelling off each part with 2000 grit wet n dry, tho havent built one since the late 1970, 4 honda, 2 ducati's, honda engine and 7 others, great models with great detail, just take 12 months to build and put on display in glass non kid box's
This model and the Suzuki GSX Katana are the best Big Bike kits around. Together with the 3 1-12 scale porsches and the 1-12 Nissan 280Z hands down the best kits you can get on a affordable price level. I know there are better kits in the big scale. But the you are talking from €150,- for the Jeagermeister porsche to €1100 MFH Lancia Delta intergrale. Wich is a true model of art.Not to mention the F1 cars the have. I use to own the CB 750 bol de Or and it was a very nice bike. But the Katana i had before the Honda is still with the Yamaha V-Max mark 1 the bikes i loved the most and still miss them. And a great build as Usuall. That clean battery with the black insert is the top of the cake for me. A very nice extra detail wich can be easy forgotten.
Very nice build. Had one of these myself back in the early 80's, an excellent bike that had no respect for speed limits as I recall. Not a nit pick, but are there no side panels?
Good evening my Romanian friend, I have just come across your channel and really enjoyed the bike build, I think the painted exhaust really made the bike look better, I have subscribed to your channel as I would like to see more of your builds, very best regsrds from Australia, Les PS: I have the very large scale Tamiya Harley Davidson Police Bike in my stash👍👍
It’s painted 😉 The fact that the painting process does not appear in the video, does not mean that it is not painted for the most part. For many viewers, the painting process is boring and they skip that part. Almost 80-90% of parts are painted.
Nice. Adding the black wash to the motor is not realistic at all, though. It is, after all, a Honda - they don't leak. (183,000+ miles on my 2016 Goldwing, and not a drop of oil leaked yet.)
I am the great Fortune of buying a 1981 Honda Super Sport 750 f but when I moved from the West to the east I sold it on account of everybody wanted to kill me
Too bad they don't make vehicles in 1/6th scale. I had to scratch build a 1/6 scale late German Tiger 1 tank and other WWII vehicles for my 12" Figures.
@@ScaleModelExperience That's too bad. I would have thought that as popular as that bike is, some place like Tamiya would have had a kit to build. I really loved watching your build of that Honda 750F. Back in the early 70s, I traveled all over the southeastern US on a CB350. The only thing I didn't like was getting caught in a hail storm. Windshields back then were something only nerds and scooter riders would have.

I just LOVE the way everybody makes some kind of big deal about opening a box and finding what the fvck what was SUPPOSED to be in there actually IS in there. Jeez, what do they hapless people do when they split open a pistachio?
My dad made one in the70s a honda 750 golden finish. It had spring forks, even the chain was linked I played with it all the time. It strangely disappeared 😕 Shame 🫠.
Hello from the UK. Very impressive model making skills, I envy your talent. I have a selection of Honda Goldwing model kits, various sizes, which I don't have the ability to make. I wonder if someone in the UK could build them for me...? 🤔👍

Thank you! 😊
It's so big! I owned a CB500four long ago. This is very close to the same. Love it.

Because I liked it better without them.

Indeed. Tamiya knows best!
Schade das es in dem Maßstab nicht die CB1300 gibt... Und ein Lob an den Erbauer...Sehr gute Arbeit ... das hätte ich auch sein können...
