Great vedio , I use to study at chelsea college at shorham Airport. Between 1975 and 1978 . Some times I used to take train while comming from London via Brighton and I used to cross the grave yard while going to college .
Couldn't see the post office and barklays bank at the corner.
It has all changed and you didn't used the famous tudore bridge .
Great memories of my younger days, thanks for taking me down the memory lane ❤

I lived in Shoreham during the 1950s. This video brings back memories, some memories. The beach is unrecognisable-where are the breakwaters? And so many changes, but still dear old Shoreham-by-Sea!
    THANK YOU Allan, Wellington, Aotearoa

Know Shoreham fairly well, as my mother retired there, living first on "the Beach" and then the other side of the estuary, near the town center. (I was last there nearly 20 years ago.)You show a lot of Shoreham in your video--thank you! I notice the old houseboats and barges along the estuary (seaward side) have been cleared away. No doubt they were substandard for housing, and some were derelict, but they were very picturesque! I wish you had shown some of the little streets the other side of the church, with the old houses once (I think) homes for fisherfolk, but now fiendishly expensive. There are parts of Shoreham that are very old, including the little pedestrian alleyways between the narrow old streets. Happy to see some of the stores I remember still there, though a lot gone. I think the big store on the street parallel to the river was Woolworth's. The Marlipins Museum building is medieval, and the museum a little gem. My mother was a volunteer there! If viewers of your video don't know Shoreham-by-Sea, it's a pleasant little town, and worth a visit. Upriver a couple of miles is Old Shoreham, with a very old church. The one in the video, St. Mary-le-Havre, is beautiful and worth a visit if it is open when you are there.

Thanks for the local knowledge, I appreciate that! I enjoyed Shoreham. It's rare to find a seaside town with this much history!
