You have to take 3 GK’s it’s competition rules, out of the 26 all 15 subs are now eligible for the bench.

You have to take 3 goalkeepers. Say your keeper gets injured in a quarter final. You now have to play with no reserve keeper for the business end of the tournament. Drop Watkins, take 3rd keeper.
If I could, I would honestly risk only 2x GKs! Look at the history of the times a 3rd goalkeeper is actually used in International history.. I think it'd be worth it to take someone like Watkins. What do you think?
I would like to see the super subs we have in attack being used as a tactic, and a fair amount of rotation during what will be a long and tiring tournament.
One of my criticisms of Southgate is that he doesn't sub early enough when players are not performing well , or looking tired.
Many teams make subs at half time .
Such a good idea! It's why I'm really high on big impact players for bench spots. Someone like James Ward-Prowse for example if we need a top dead ball delivery in the last 10 mins etc.
