I'm not exactly sure. Have your ac on and have somebody or with your other hand feel the temperature from the vents as you are down there. Or set the ac to blow to the bottom and see how it feels while you are down there. I would say maybe counterclockwise maybe?

@sashiaesparza3253 so your driver side doesn't change temperature at all it just stays cold? But passenger switches from cold and hot? If so order a heater box. But check it first if it's stripped

Just stuff it with epoxy or contact cement and it is fixed. Don't give the greedy dealer 1500 to replace it.
