It was the time when overtakes were real, with no DRS nonsense, sounds were making your hair stand up, and drivers had real characters and could do and say what they really wanted. Oh, well…
@ That's right, the fatal accidents involving Ratzenberger and Senna unfortunately changed a lot. As you say, the cars changed, the sounds, the tracks too, and the racing drivers were real men who had to control their cars themselves.
@@dymrjones8746 Whether we like it or not, safety regulations in Formula 1 are written in blood. Both car and track safety have come a long way since then; this is the reason why we haven’t had any fatal incidents in F1 in a while.
