Hello. I just found your channel. This was such a refreshing take on introducing the 2024 trends. You are very articulate in your presentation. It would be great to see how you take these trends and show styles that the majority of your viewers would actually wear. I realize the runway shows are about showing their designs in the most artistic ways, but be real. Most of us will not be wearing these exact looks, let along be able to afford them.

Big bags are definitely my lifestyle choice! I love the trends...especially the Girl Core and Shimmer & Shine! Classics have always been my staple but I love to add one piece of "Girlie". Now I feel as if I can be a bit more full-blown Girlie. Adore the Shimmer & Shine to add to my classics for a complete twist on my day wear! Capris are in my "never" category however.

This year hilariously it's both! I think for our ready to wear wardrobes it's going to be more about those elevated basics and that fun twist on tailoring. But on the flip side when it comes to designers showing their creativity it's about those artisan craft pieces. Often times the "trends lists", I have found anyways, like to contradict because it's a compilation of different minds and creatives! I think the key with trends is taking what speaks to you and running with it 🥰

I really don’t mean to sound cynical, but I am sure the fashion world wants us to rebuild our basics. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a business where they want to make money, and I definitely am not somebody who feels like if you’re going to have a basic, it has to be very elevated/expensive. Take white shirts, for instance… Different types of clothing, in my opinion, is not worth spending top dollar because they will give out like the rest of our clothes eventually. I do appreciate this so much though! It’s so great to get an overall view… I watch runways all the time, but it’s nice to have this succinctly put together, so thank you so much!

It's sturdy, looks so expensive and doesn't break the bank. I think this is why I like looking at these "trends" or runway shows as art in motion. When I go to a museum I see SO MUCH but when I leave I only take with me the memories of what left an impression. I’m not super tall, but average and I tried a super high waisted pair of pants. They were not leg lengthening. They made me disappear. They looked like strapless jumpers!! If they were a bit more high waisted , I could have put a hole in the front pocket and use them for armholes!

I’m not super tall, but average and I tried a super high waisted pair of pants. They were not leg lengthening. They made me disappear. They looked like strapless jumpers!! If they were a bit more high waisted , I could have put a hole in the front pocket and use them for armholes!
