If Buffalo thought it needed to be that aggressive (giving up multiple early round picks) to replace Diggs, they wouldn't have traded him. Teams do not value WRs nearly as greatly as fans and the media. The Chiefs aren't taking a WR in the first round. Take a look at the last time Andy Reid, Sean Payton, Green Bay, Pittsburgh have done so. Buffalo will fill out their WR room, but the idea that they have to move up to get a guy is absurd.

Do not trade back when you have a chance to take Odunze at #9 he is a huge talent. Remember Keenan Allen is in his thirties and maybe moved on after a year so having Odunze there to take over on a rookie contract would allow us to move for a elite edge in next years draft where there is a larger pool of them. Let’s have a go offensively for once and turn our franchise into a offensive force and not just a defensive one that we are known as

When I saw the New Orleans trade scenario floated out there where Bears exchange 9 and 75 for the 14 and 45 I thought Ok that seems like a plausible move, but since then everything I’ve seen is like the 15 and the 90 or something ridiculous like that. If I could get 14 and 45 or better with the depth of OT and WRs in this draft and Odunze and Alt were gone I might consider it. You could get a highly rated OL and a very nice receiver at those numbers but if it’s more like 15 and 90 I’ll stay put and take Fuaga or Latham at 10.

I think it would be tough to get anyone in the top ten picks ro trade down. They would have to be offered a pretty good haul and next years picks. Seems more so in a top heavy draft. Bears are in a great position at 9. Especially if four quarter backs do come off the the board beforehand. With MHJ going as well that leaves two picks before the Bears are up again. It almost feels like that 9 pick is a number 4 pick. Use it. This is a pick that would be hard to miss on no matter who you take. Trade down and you may find a diamond in the rough. Maybe. If it's a top heavy draft they'll take the best player available no matter the position. We dont know who they value the most so try to keep an open mind. We may be surprised

The Vikings, Raiders and Broncos are very interested in JJ McCarthy and will probably try to move up to get ahead of one another to get him. Then the last two of those teams may be trying to move up to get Bo Nix. There's a chance that the top 3 WRs will be gone too. Which leaves Brian Thomas Jr. as the next WR. With the 9th pick Chicago could go with Brock Bowers too. Since Chicago's defense played so well last year and the offense didn't I feel strongly about them going offense with pick at 9. I really doubt MHJ, Nabers, Alt, Odunze and Bowers will be there and if any of them are Chicago should get one of them in that order. We can be sure that the Vikings, Broncos and Raiders will be playing leapfrog to get their man. I would not trade down past the Raiders. We do the swap and get their 2nd Rd pick at minimum. Then draft either WR "Brian Thomas Jr" or
Tackle "Fuaga" or "Fautanu." Then get the pass rusher or more offense with that 2nd Rd pick!
