    Do you mostly go to the same places to pick up & deliver or do you like kinda have to go to different places on a daily ?

    • @KDSTrucking
      @KDSTrucking  3 года назад

      Kinda sorta , I’d say you’ll go to the same
      Places 75% of the time . But it also depends on the volume
      Of freight where you live .

    That’s good money bro! I see you had to test those backing skills😂 glad you made it out. Man, $94k for P&D is awesome! How much freight do you have to physically touch? Sounds great so far... wait, is all time paid straight time - no overtime?

      Yeah no OT sadly lol but since they don’t pay OT they let you work basically as many hours as you’d like. I use a pallet jack to drag pallets to the back or unload it if the customers busy , but only if it’s 1 or 2 pallets . Any more than that and they unload it .You have the occasional residential which may be a box or a pallet or
      Something that you hand unload . If it’s not too heavy. Like I tell everyone, City driving isn’t hard , just long hours . Oh OD , SEFL , ACT & R&L . Don’t pay OT or may pay OT after 60-70 hours . I know we don’t at all .

    Why did you leave SEFL , I start on 3/14

    Hey, do LTL companies take students fresh out of cdl school or you normally have to have 6 months to a year experience?

    • @KDSTrucking
      @KDSTrucking  3 года назад

      You need a year and all your endorsements and no restrictions. Very rare they take you in right out of school

    How you liking the company so far? I’m planning on taking the driving trainee course they offer. Just need to get my cdl permit, they have one in Jacksonville the closest too me (5 hours) wonder if they pay for living expenses there

    • @KDSTrucking
      @KDSTrucking  3 года назад

      I don’t think they’d hire you 5 hours out lol unless you’re gonna move closer .
