You'd better do "Poldark", the original, and "Upstairs Downstairs", for the 70's. Most of the rest was stuff for kids!! I BETCHA, for the 80's, you'll leave out "Miami Vice", and for the turn of the century, you'll omit "J.A.G."!
I knew every one of them ‼️. Boy, that makes me feel old 😟‼️ To prove that I knew them all, I will comment about a few that might have been on the list; "Get Smart", "Dragnet", and "The Flying Nun". Might you do a sixties TV theme song part two ⁉️

Same here. I got the same score as you but I wasn’t born until 1971. I missed Star Trek, The Big Valley, and the Tonight Show. The last one sounded familiar, but I couldn’t come up with it on time.
15 out of 16. Only one I missed was The Carol Bunnett Show even though I did watch it. In fact I watched every one of these shows. Now I don’t even own a TV.
I knew all but one. The only western I saw when I was a kid in the 60’s (born 1958) was Bonanza. I get confused between Big Valley, High Chaperral and Gunsmoke. My favorite was Gilligans 😊Island!
I kept expecting to hear the theme song to "Hawaii 5-0". Very easy quiz for me. I liked that you didn't make it multiple choice and that you didn't take along time to reveal the asnwers.
Only got six, but I’m not American so hadn’t seen all of them. I recognised Bewitched, but went for I Dream of Jeanie. I recognised the Big Valley as a western, but couldn’t think of which one.
Drat. I missed #13. Never watched it, and I didn't recognize any part of what you played. Funny though, I just knew you would include the ones for 9 & 12. Surprised you didn't include _The Twilight Zone, but it was still a great list. All of them are classic 60s shows.
Great Job!! Perfect score. There is another Vol 2, 1960s quiz, that does have Voyage. I have a Vol 3 1960s game coming out soon. Thanks so much for playing....
Again, very nice score! And yes, the 60's shows seem to be streamed less, so being born in the 70's, that is a great score!! Thanks again, for playing. Quick note: we'll be launching today, the Ultimate Toy Challenge, presenting 50 iconic toys from past decades. See if you can guess them all!! Have a great day.
All these shows were on Australian TV in the 1960s except the Tonight Show. I didn’t get that one. Big Valley was on TV here, but I was a child and didn’t watch it, so didn’t get that one either. I didn’t get the Carol Burnett show either, but I do remember watching it.
I knew The Big Valley was a western because even in those few notes it had that big open western range sound. But I guessed High Chaparral. TY for including The Monkees. Love them still.
Got all but Big Valley. Never watched the show, but for some reason I knew it was a theme song for a western. Almost missed the Tonight Show; for some reason I was thinking it was the theme song for a game show. Two facts about Gilligan: 1. The original theme song after "the Movie Star" was "And the rest are here on Gilligan's Island" and 2. In the early-70s Sherwood Shwartz made a western version of Gilligan's Island that starred Bob Denver and Forrest Tucker that was about a group of people that got separated from the main wagon train. It was called Dusty's Trail. The characters were basically the characters from Gilligan's Island in the old west played by different actors
Did better here than I did on the 70's quiz. Only didn't guess Carol Burnett, should have known it since my sister watched it all the time. I really think you didn't play the music long enough.
Well let me say, thanks for playing a couple of different quizzes. We do appreciate that. And its tricky, deciding how much of the music to play. Too short and its super hard to guess. Too long and its too easy. Tricky to find that balance... Thanks for your thoughts.
Did you notice that you put two Vic Mizzy songs back to back? I was having trouble hearing The Carol Burnett theme, but then heard "starring Harvey Korman". Some peeps offering theme titles for future 60's list... Can I chime?
Off the top of my head, I know two popular TV shows that changed their first season theme songs for songs that became better known themes for the series. This might be a fun topic to explore more.
I got them all, but number 7. I could not think of it names, but I remember that song just couldn't think fast enough. I use to watch all of those shows back then n some times I still look at some of them. Yes , I am old, middle seventh.
13/16, proof that I spent too much time watching TV growing up in the 1960s. 2 of my misses I recognized as soon as the answer was given. The Carol Burnett Show theme didn't cover enough of the classic part that we all remember. FYI ... Sesame Street's Elmo didn't appear until 1980, showing him in a 1960s quiz is incorrect; Sesame Street debuted in 1969 with a limited human and Muppet cast.
13/16. The three I missed were all in a row. I'm not familiar with the Big Valley, so I don't mind missing that one. But Carol Burnett and the Munsters, I should have got those.
