I’m fired up. You know me BONE STOCK RACING. man you are full throttle on this build! Awesome. I found you after your kind comments on my stock machine. I’m so excited to binge all your videos!!

Looking good. Was waiting to see how those a arms were, but for the money and they are still looking kinda wonky, I would rather spend for something I know works and lasts. Im working on my 3rd build, but like you say... there are just some things you can’t skimp on.
Yeah man, definitely not a repeat buy for me. That is awesome you are on your 3rd, they are very addicting! (Seat, rear seat bracket, and all OEM brakes and brackets are very expensive and something you can't really get around).
@@PatrickRiggs33 Still haven’t decided on the a arms and shocks for the latest one. I have the same setup of fox and roll on one R, and the other has JD performance arms and Motowoz shocks on the second. Was looking for more budget friendly arms and shock setup so maybe lsr sport arms, but not sure. Keep the content coming good stuff!!
@@richykid9631 I would definitely go LSR Sport or even JD Performance standard travel. ISF also makes really good arms but it might be long wait with him. American Star is also a decent company I've used in the past with good results. Thanks man I will do!
man in 2018 when i got back into riding and rebuilt the R . i got a fx gripper seat cover from rocky mt for like 40$ i think . here it is the first race of the 2021 season was yesterday . my cheap ass 40$ seat cover is still in perfect shape . i see people spend 300$ on seat covers that last a year . lmao im good with running the cheap shit . if it works send it !!!
Nice quad man.I just sent my ,new to me,73 mm 86' cylinder to a good motorcyle mechanic, for porting. And to be bored to a 73.25.Ordering piston in th Am tomorrow.I ask him to port it like MacDizzy's 1986 trx 250R engine modification. As he has step by step porting.I want to run 50/50 93 and race fuel. But know zero about that.Mines an 87'.With 88' swing arm.Mint Oem 88' Plastics.I got right before they quit making them.At Honda Anyways. You did a good job here. It's basically,a brand new quad.Wondering if you sold it yet

thats kind of a bummer on the full flight A arms . me being a racer and very hard on equipment . i wouldnt run full flight , i wouldve gotten lsr sport A arms if i wasnt going long travel . at least lsr is quality parts and will hold up for many many years . maybe one day full flight will have quality arms .
Agreed man, I'm doing a, "budget build," on this one and wanted to give them a try. Supposedly the elites are better, and they might be a little, but I'm not really feeling it.
Yo Steve! I like the Pro Taper Profile. I use them on all my quads. Very high quality for the money. www.amazon.com/dp/B007AEREI0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_8KGJPJ9WE0H902S8XVYX
In short, yeah pretty much. But there are ways around it. Ricky Stator makes a "lighting" stator for the CR250 that you could use or you can run the light off a rechargeable drill battery and a toggle switch which is what most do. This is how I power my radiator fan and it works awesome!
AC nerfbars are the strongest mounting bars on the market . the only problem is the aluminum foot pegs . after a few races their bald . there really isnt that good of nerfbars for the 250r . they either have strong mounting points and aluminum pegs . or they have weak mounting points and bend with really nice and sharp steal pegs .

Max, the black one i have never put a number on, but it's up there for a stock framed 250r. Upwards of $15k if I had to guess. This one I would like to keep under $9k. Remember I did not have a quad to start with on this one. It is 100% from scratch, all components coming in separately.
Love that frame color.

Does the cr 250 ignition mean you can’t have a headlight?
