LTZ400 and LTR450 - Grass Turn Track
Просмотров 2,6 тыс.2 года назад
After driving 1.5 hours to an MX track only to find it shut down for the day for maintenance we decided to call an audible and just make a fun grass turn track out of the parking lot! We got some pretty good footage of the Z and LTR in action.

Suzuki LTZ400 - Smooth Flow on a Rough Trail?
Hey man love your videos! I just bought a FCR carb built by jetlab and Danny provided a manifold boot but it doesn’t seem to be the same one you have on yours! Any chance you picked that one up somewhere else? Only reason I ask is I feel like I need a tad more offset and length to reach my airbox boot and give the trx throttle cable a bit more room.
Hey Man! Use the stock boot. Heat it up with a blow dryer, boil it, whatever you want. That's what I do.
@ Thanks for the response! I will try and boil the intake boot and see if I can get a better fit! I hit it with a heat gun and got it stretched a little, but realized I still had a slight air leak when trying to dial the carb in! Love your build, keep up the awesome content!
Hey man, I had a tip end redone on my LTR, rode it once and it cut off and crank a few times then finally didn't crank anymore. Fuel wasn't getting into the filter, then when I got fuel to get into filter, it cranked, I rode it half a trail it died, and now even if fuel is in the filter, it just turns over. I replaced fuel pump and still nothing. Took it to the guy who did the top end, and he straight told me it now needs a bottom end and he wanted $1900 total to do it. I took my bike back because I felt I needed a second opinion. What does this sound like to you? A bottom end, or something else?
Sounds like it could be the fuel pressure regulator. The problem most people have with the LTR fuel system is they just replace one piece at a time, and sometimes you might luck out and it fixes the issue but, more often than not you need to replace all components at once. New fuel pump, new fuel pressure regulator, new swirl filter, new or cleaned injector. You cannot just spray off the injector and call it done, you either need to have it done professionally or buy the little 9volt battery tool that actuates the injector as you clean it. I still would have it done professionally or buy new. Good luck!
@PatrickRiggs33 that makes sense. Everyone also talks about the swirl filter as well. You're right, imma get all the other pieces around the fuel pump that I already have. The other question I have is., where can I get the swirl filter from? And where is a good place in general to get LTR parts?
@@DameMediaVids I get all of my oem parts from Rocky Mountain ATV OEM parts section.
Love the LTR. My neighbor has a rebuilt stoke specs engine on his and it’s a problem for the lightly modded yfz’s and trx’s
They were way ahead of their time! Would be awesome if Suzuki came back out with another.
you dont see many lt250r's out there , especially decked out . sweet bike , she sounds great with that CT pipe 🤙🤙
Thanks! Yeah, she sounds great!
What a cool duo of quads to see in the trails & great video like always! 🤘
Thank you! It was cool hearing that CT Pipe echo in front of me 😎
I feel the lt250r is a very underrated/overlooked quad.
It most definitely is. It is a woods weapon no doubt!
Great video man! Straight ripping!
Appreciate it!
Don't make em like they used to! Awesome video!! Care to share location?
That is for sure!! Croom in Brooksville, FL
Sick dude, loved the 250r as well. Does crooms have an xc type track trails setup? Almost done with my trx450r xc build and crooms is the closest to us. That an ocala.
Thanks! I would say the north end is geared toward XC. The south end (pit) is geared toward MX.
Z400 is eating up those trails! Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you guys too!
Croom looks like a lot of fun! On the bucket list to try and ride there someday.
It's a great place to ride!
The whoops are so deep there. If you don’t have the right suspension it can be a rough ride lol went there once but didn’t get a chance to really explore it like I wanted to
Yep!
Dope video! Quad has a awesome sound
Thanks man!
Man that Z is sweet. Great video Patrick.
Thanks Alex!
Heck yeah man! Love that z400!
Thanks man!
Nice! Rippin them trails up!

thats my tire in the tree
That's hilarious I've always wondered whose tire that might be!
@@PatrickRiggs33 lol. i had like 4 up there and someone took them down
He’ll yea!! Let’s go!! LTZ looking good 👍
Thanks Will!
Nice to see you back at it. This is Alfredo we met up last week out there. Great video.
Thanks Alfredo! Nice meeting you last Saturday!
🎉to having some of the nicest Suzuki quads. I'm still working on my LTZ 400 builds.
Very cool! Have fun with them they're a blast!
By any chance do you remember where did you get that grahics kit for the z400? thanks in advance
Senge Graphics out of Pennsylvania, they're great people!
@@PatrickRiggs33 Thanks a lot man, another quick question, how did you get the measurements to cut the front fenders, they look crazy, I would like to do the same to mine
Love your Z! What size shock you use in the rear with the ltr swing arm? Regards from Portugal,😊
Standard Travel LTZ rear shock 👍
Thanks . Gona give this a shot . Its frustrating to adjust front end toe with just eye . When u think u have it down and look from rear towards front , it looks way off lol vice sersa
Which place is better croom or bone valley?
Depends on your ability and who you are riding with. Beginners and young riders bone valley.
@PatrickRiggs33 thanks. Any other location you know near orlando?
Suuper nice quad! Definitely took some inspiration. Do you have a guide for the Plastik cut?
Nice bike and great channel! I got myself a ltz too. I was told u have some helpful tipps for getting a Doug gust cut done. I would love to cut my Plastiks just like u did
What levers you bought for the brake?
OEM Honda
