The biggest problem I have with this ship is all the extra charges. It's gone insaine! They haven't actually added anything new that is included but taken stuff away like the adults bit at the back. I also would love to see that pool area on a hot Caribbean day. 😂

Belated thanks, gentlemen. We're sailing Encore to Alaska soon, very much looking forward to it. It's almost like she was designed for Alaska sailings with those mounted binoculars and the huge observation lounge. And she's still practically brand new, I think the shut down happened almost just after her launch.

I don't mind that so much. I don't plan on doing the go karts, so not adding that expense to my cruise is fine by me! Likewise, not sure I'd fit in the laser tag. I would probably like to try a VR game or two, though.
I’m going on this next year how much extra are we talking because this bummed me out more than I was excited when we booked. Like damn man pay a couple grand to go on a ship and everything’s extra extra extra. Bet it’s 100$ for laser tag or some bs

I am late seeing this, but I really enjoyed it as I was on The Bliss's inaugural voyage through the new locks of The Panama Canal (Miami to Los Angeles) and thought it was amazing. I know the Bliss and Encore are sister ships and I've been quite curious actually and will cruise on her eventually. Next up though is The Breakaway August 2; if it happens. As to this marvelous video, I could not agree with you two more as Cagney's is my all-time favorite as well. Filet Mignon medium-rare please :)

@@Wild1995 Thanks wild. Yes we use a tripod and gimble. A ship tour takes anywhere form 7 hours + filming and then about 12 hours of editing.

Were you able to buy a week long or day pass, or was it per time. Might have to put my husband on a budget because he'll be on them constantly.

Team Us 2K had a cruise booked for November 2020 aboard this ship but we had to cancel due to the COVID-19. This video gave us an insight to what we was looking for.

Great video guys. I love the map graphic. Is there a video you have that goes over the dining packages of NCL? I think that would be the only way I would check out all of those specialty restaurants.

I'm curious about the Galaxy Pavilion, to be honest I'm kind of disappointed it's an up charge (there seems to be a lot of that) considering it replaces Spice H2O...I'm wondering what the charge was roughly and if they offer per visit show up and play or week long passes, like the race track. It's a nice ship, but I prefer the laid back cruising environment of yesteryear. If I want go karts, virtual reality, water tubes, or laser tag those are readily available on land, but I want to relax & enjoy the sea. I can see how this will appeal to younger folks and families with kids. The pool area seems very small when sailing in the Caribbean. That being said I'd still like to experience the rest of the ship to sample the many dining venues and see some of the shows. Hope NCL does well with this ship & the demographic they're shooting for.
The ship is definitely a more lively ship. Some of the older ships that's have been refitted have a quieter feel such as the Jade. But this is the nice thing about cruising. There is a cruise line for everyone! 😃

Bear in mind you have free at sea when you book this includes things like a dining package and drinks package for free...
It’s really not free at sea. Compare the itinerary to other cruise lines and NCL will be more expensive. So you are paying for them drinks in the cruise fare.

I'm good I don't drink and I eat at the regular restaurants included in the fare.
@@mrtruckingtaurus3940 Yup! Very true! We realized this the last time we wanted to book a cruise and were doing comparisons. NCL essentially charges everyone for these alleged "free at sea" perks. It's a great scam on their part. Hide the cost in the passenger's cruise fare and then tell them they're getting it for free.

We have really loved the O'sheehans on other norweigan ships.. It looks like the "local bar and grill" has taken place of this with a similar concept. However.. we loved playing pool and darts at o sheehans. Does the local bar and grill have this .. or is there any where else on the encore that has games like this?

I was on The Escape , from England to Florida . Did you hear the news ? Norwegian , maybe going out of business due to Corona .
So glad they kept the beautiful Observation Lounge and the Waterfront on this new ship. Does the ship have a Thermal Suite? I did not see one in this video when you filmed the spa area. The main chandelier in the atrium area looked like it had bubble wrap on it. Was someone working on it at the time?

Hey Jose. The main dining rooms (Taste, Savour and the Manhatton Room), the buffet, food in the Observation lounge and food from The Local are inclided.
At the moment Lazer tag is $9.95 per person, per game. The speedway is $15.00 per person, per ride. You can buy a unlimited speedway pass for $199 for a 7-day sailing. The kids youth progeammes are for 6 Months+. We where unable to film them on our sailing as they where open to children.

John Bennett you can find a You Tube video for just about any cabin type on any cruise ship. Just search for your room number on the ship you are going on. I have found every room we have booked on three of the cruise lines we have been on so far!

Im so glad they added more specialty dining to choose from on this newer class of ships. It was always so hard to book in the past when there were only a few on each ship and everyone had a package!

In my humble opinion norweigan cruises maximize natural light and views a lot better than other cruises. Other ships don’t give enough view over the sides. Plz let me know if I am wrong
