Yes, you can see it as portals, it's Kai's superpower in EXO, teleportation, he is very proud to have it integrated into his album videos
It wasn't cool of SM to let him do it big, it was necessary. Bc Kai is the only member of EXO who never got any solo projects on his 8 years of career. Not even a single station. So Kai deserves it.
Sehun didn't get any solo stations. He had one short solo MV off his sub-unit album, but he hasn't really had any sort of solo anything. D.O. who is a main vocalist for the group has had a solo station, but no actual solo release. And SM didn't go this big for Suho, and especially not for Chen. So I am glad that SM is stepping up and making this huge for Kai, because he certainly deserves it, but they put in the effort because of his popularity. The less popular members don't get nearly the hype. Hopefully that will change.
@@EXO-L-ls8qj so much for his popularity that it took SM nearly 9 years to give him a solo project. Kyungsoo got his first station back in 2016, yes as the main vocalist he deserves more exposure and I'm sure after the enlistment he'll debut as soloist bc that's what he's been planning to. Meanwhile we all know he was more focused on his acting than releasing songs.
@@EXO-L-ls8qj the way why SC didn't get much promotion is that I think SC want their own music not SM producing songs. They didn't use SM producers and song writers ,so SM didn't pay attention to SC. This is just my thinking.
@@EXO-L-ls8qj I agree Kai is popular, general public loves him but he’s not the most popular exo member in the exo fandom, korea and in china , it’s chanyeol, sehun and baekhyun... I’m glad he has Gp’s help for his solo debut.

@@sextuplemillionsellersfan7961 it's in twitter. Some Korean exol has posted about it. He spend more on his solo album to have better quality . I'm not sure if it's exactly the truth. But we know how much excited Kai is for his album .
@@poisonous3062 yes in "I live alone" episode he said he keeps tags on clothes so when he need money he will sell them in future(jokingly). It's not like he is going broke it's just that may be its a hint that how much he invested it. And we all know that SM give 100% freedom to artists when it comes to solo. There are many reports claims that he went over budget according to SM but still he made it just to give best of best to us. He choose us (exols) over his money. So exols support him and make him one more soloist million seller from EXO.
For his solo debut, Kai's been on multiple variety shows lately, like "I live alone", "Amazing saturday" (one time with Taemin, one time with Ravi), so it would be nice if you guys could react to those. Maybe on Patreon... 😊

yes, thank you for saying this. people seem to think that SM is playing favorites because of the size and range of kolo, not knowing that jongin financed part of it AND had to book himself on youtube channels, on ravi's radio show, etc. we have HIM to thank for this gorgeous album, film, mv, and debut!!

His debut mini album KAI will be released on November 30th and it will be THE BOM OF THE YEAR.
I really hope this is a sign of things to come. That all album drops are going to be handled the same way (with a film of MV teasers for all the songs on the album that won't get an MV). It really made me want the album way more than I already did!! This could be the wave of the future. I know I will be buying even more copies of the album now and I will be playing every single song on repeat and hyping this album and MV everywhere I go. It is absolutely brilliant and Kai just KILLED the whole entire concept!!
