Hi Mitch! Can you help me with a task on Freshdesk? When a ticket comes thru, I want to be able to have an agent notified of a ticket when I assign their name under the Properties list. Currently, when I have listed an agent under this list, they do not get an email letting them know they were 'pinged' for a ticket. How can I make this Properties list 'ping' an agent when I list their name here? Ideally, I want the agent to be sent an email alerting them they have been assigned a ticket. I'd like to do this without using the messaging feature. I would really love your advice on this question.
Nevermind, Mitch. As it turns out, my colleagues and I figured it out on our own. We tried it and it we DID get a delayed response. So we are glad it works.
You explain this platform very well. I do have a question though. Is there a way for this platform to automatically notify a specific person when a ticket is submitted? Meaning, when a ticket is submitted for a certain department to answer, is there a way to set up key words in order for the platform to automatically 'tag' the department or person?

yes just add a notification to who you want to be notified.
