@liming7827 one fan theory i read was that someone (ALDR?) seems to have setup a trap with the electric wire fence and they ended up running through it in the darkness while getting away from an attack.
That's a good point, I wonder if it's a remnant of their memories as gestalts? That or it could be that they're deliberately taught to be religious/spiritual so as to not lose motivation in life and or question their existence too heavily.
They break my heart every time. I’ll think about them and the water works will start like nothing else. Star acting happy for them both is some shit my partner would do and that’s saddening as hell
You can hear Causal loop, the soundtrack from when you meet the wounded STAR at the start of the game in the background, this could imply they are the same STAR, because in the cutscene the STAR hesitates (expressed with …) before saying "an Elster unit" obviously there is no voice acting but this makes it seem as though she is incredulous and in disbelief of Elster being there, likely because as the name of the track implies, there is a loop going on and in fact the first time she sees Elster is down in the mine, which would make it near impossible for her to be on the first floor. Less impactful but the STAR then goes on to warn Elster telling her to turn back, likely made aware of the loop. All though this does seem a bit far fetched, several other things in Signalis also require a constant loop to work as well like the white armour Elster gets, or the different endings.
I can't remember exactly how to get to it but it's in the mine section, just thoroughly check all the rooms you go in and you'll find it, nothing too hard to find as long as you look for it. Just be obsessive about checking everything
@@kit-the-cat-skelanimal-plush I already was in this room, i've ment how to get behind the barrier. Just because the sign next to it I thought going through that glass fiber would result in instant death. I now know that it isn't true, and that dealing with the damage is probably the only way to talk to them. Pretty sure i didn't miss any rooms that could lead around the "impenetrable" barrier. Thank you anyway.
@@Neukend Ah, I'm sorry I misunderstood. There is a path around the barrier, it is kind of hard to see the opening though. If you have your flashlight with you you should be able to see it.
I only just realized theres like a bunch of other dead STARs and EULEs in the room too. Ah jeez.
Yeah :/
I havent played this game and only started reading the lore. Was there any explanation why there are other dead STARs and EULEs in the room too?

can't believe i missed this room, heartbreaking 😭😭😭😭
I know it's beside the point, but it's interesting to see that (at least some) replikas believe in an afterlife of some sort.

well they're people
the only voice act is the crying of this Eule unit :')
It'll be okay.
Wherever it is I'm going,
I'll wait for you there.
The fact she goes silent :(
