    It took me almost 2 years to get the correct measurements for just an external Tiger 3D model. How careful were you with measurements? Or did you just go off of a kit?

      Hello, I have experienced more than 2 years before and after making this modeling. At least I have purchased and referred to several 1/35 full-structural Tiger tank model kits by myself, especially the mid-range model from RFM company, which gave me the most help😚

      Interior sprays are mainly easy model "TransForm" water-based paint, ivory and German armour rust resistant red, and have gone into some oil paint

    He owned a Pharmacy after the war and lived a long life. I believe he named it Tiger Pharmacy or something similar. the man had a sense of humor for sure.

      Yes, there are friends around us who have been lucky to get his signature book. In addition, several decades ago, Tamiya Company of Japan developed a 1/35 tiger tank model product based on his real battlefield experience in that year and gave it to him personally. Because of its long history, this set of products was not too rigorous and had some small mistakes, but Otto Carius did not point out it out out politely, but collected it in the display cabinet at home after it was finished.

    Such fantastic detail, only to be let down by getting the driver and machine gunners hatches the wrong way round. Periscopes should look forward, not 45 degrees to the rear of the vehicle.

      Die militärischen Bilderbücher, auf die ich mich beziehe, sind alle weiße Zeichen, und weiß sieht empfindlicher aus, also benutze ich diese Version.

      @@katanaxiii9782 das ist es, was mich so verwirrt...sämtliche Bausätze bringen weisse Decals...aber auf keinem zeitgenössischem Foto sieht man weisse Zahlen...immer nur in Schwarz...habe auch noch den 1:35er Bausatz von Otto Carius von Tamiya, überlege aber die "217" schwarz umzulackieren...weiss es selbst nicht, was richtig und was falsch ist

      @@dirkwendland4440 In der Tat ist eine größere Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die 217-Zahl rot ist, was auf Schwarz-Weiß-Fotos wie Schwarz aussieht. Darüber hinaus wurden viele Militärbroschüren und das damals von Tamiya hergestellte 1/35-Gedenk-Tiger-Panzermodell weiß gedruckt. Dieses Tigermodell wurde auch Otto Carius selbst überreicht, der aus Höflichkeit und ohne Einwände stillschweigend zustimmte.
