Call recording is very important feature i can tell it has saved my life. And otherwise in context of legal process, financial transactions or personal disputes call recording is a must. Indian courts doesn't accept video recording but voice recording as a conditional proof.

I really rely on call recordings....I have to go bck to my call recordings frequently coz I tend to get lost during long convos or forgt imp points especially related to work. And I recently lost my mom but thnx to call recordings...I still can hear her voice ❤. Thank God my Samsung phone has it.

In my opinion call recording notification shouldn't notify the other person, cause for safety and security reason. If I'm recording the call and other person gets notified, then immediately the person will drop the call. So, where will be the advantage.
In other case if you are sharing some of your personal or sensitive information and you don't want that to be leaked therefore if your opponent recording from next side then you will notified and can cut the call

SAMSUNG doesn't allow users to do call recording in WiFi Calling mode.
Whereas ASUS gives call recording option irrespective of WiFi Calling or VoLTE Calling.

After installation go to phone setting set this app as default in Text to speech then clear data of phone (Dialer) app in app info then try it will work
Finally found someone who speaks logic on review channels
Everything has two sides one good and the other bad.
So you cant just exclude call recording for its bad/wrong usage.
Cause there's also a good/usefull side to it.
Brand can provide call recording with exception of European number. I mean whenever a european number is dialed, it will notify. Otherwise it will be recording silently as before.

Finally someone touched this unique issue. This was on my mind from months when my dad's Mi A2 received Android 10 update and it's google dialer included the call recording feature along with this notification. But yes, like you said in the end, it can be seen from 2 aspects. In my opinion, call recording is a very important feature. Also, good luck for the 1 Million soon.

There are a lot of houses that has hidden CCTV surveillance. Im case of a break in, would that CCTV surveillance be termed as illegal if the thief had no knowledge of a CCTV being there??
If the evidence is substantial then it would not be deemed illegal since no one is idiot enough to intentionally reveal their wrongs through a consensual recording

If you think about it most businesses have to use the declaration, "You are being Monitored" if they use CCTV cameras as a security measure. Likewise if you are having a guest over, who wants to change their dress in your room and you have a camera recorder in your room as a security measure. You will obligated to inform the existence of the camera to the guest.
I think privacy in India is not an absolute right but sometimes it is, and when it is and isn't is a bit ambiguous. It's contextual I guess.
