    Those vents are backwards. They're designed to to follow the shape of the inner hood support. Otherwise goodinstall video

      Well damn lol! good eye man! I didn’t notice that til now 😂 they still work really well so I guess I can’t be mad at it

      @@2AOverland I just ordered the same vents. I thought they were different vents at first. The still look great but it may be an easier install following the inner structure lol

      I agree 😂 trimming that hood support sucked tbh. Thanks for watching again and I hope the vents help on your rig 👍🏼

    I suppose its just personal preference but I would have swapped them side to side and maybe you wouldn't have had to cut the hood cross braces. But ya you got a good lookin machine there

      Thanks a ton for watching man we really appreciate it! I’m just trying to keep on old jeep functional and capable lol. you do have a point there with side to side I wish I would of thought of that before lol. I wish I could of cut the hood without cutting the braces too. But once I had the louvers on there it did stiffen it back up quite a bit.

    Put them on and start having tps troubles every time theres a heavy rain use conector grease but the problem persist even the ac sensor. Looks great but the troubles are not worthy. Cherokee sport 1999

    I got a pair but mine are like 1/2 the size of yours. I’m gonna find a hood and paint it and place these in itZ my freshly painted hood on my xj is mint so I want another just in case I don’t like the vents but in the summer any xj runs a little hotZ especially in 4 low .

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  2 года назад

      That’s not a bad idea at all! It would be cheap for an extra hood and if the paint matches good enough you have a summer and winter hood. I’m not entirely sure how much it helps but coolant and engine temps have been lower during the summer after doing the louvers.

    Good video. Have you considered installing a cowl induction or snorkel setup so you can put a second battery where the air box is?

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  3 года назад

      Thanks for watching! And Yep! we installed the THOR cowl intake and relocated our second battery to that spot! It made so much extra room in the back

    единственный минус-после водных преград весь пар от двигателя будет идти на лобовое стекло

      Спасибо за просмотр! в этом ты прав. Я стараюсь избегать водных переходов, потому что у меня есть части джипа, которые могут протечь внутри.

    Excellent video how much water gets in

    • @2AOverland
      @2AOverland  3 года назад

      We appreciate you watching! Not a whole lot goes in while driving cause how the louvers are angled but you can get a lot in while washing the vehicle.

      @@2AOverland what if I don't drive the car for a whole raining week? there would be water deposit under it?

    • @2AOverland

      Thank you for watching, I would say there would be some water under it but it shouldn’t affect the jeep unless you have bad electrical connections and stuff like that.
