.....😅😅😅😅😅
Such a beautiful man I could listen to him for ages even after all he went through he still managed to smile telling his testimony thank you and god bless you sir 🙏🏼
Great interview! Wonderful testimony. Yes he definitely was a strong man. Bless him.
What a wonderful man, this Harry Weiss; humble and full of inner strength. Thank you for these videos..... never forget.
These are priceless in interviews
I REALLY like this man. He is honest, strong and practical. God bless him always.
What a nice unassuming man. Thank you for your testimony.
So sad that this poor man had to endure such a terrible situation. God bless him.
This is my great grandfather.
Lucky youn
Lucky you
Great ‘great grandfather’
Such a beautiful soul ❤
What an amazing human, breaks my heart to hear his story xxx
Thank you for helping understand the horror you went thru!
Wonderful sweet man!
How very very heartbreaking, when this wonderful man was young and should have been excited for the rest of his life to come, he lived in fear, just heartbreaking, when he cried I cried for him as well :( such a lovely man, I just hope he got to feel true hapiness during his life after what he went through! :(... God bless the Jewish people!
Thank you for sharing. God bless your soul
Disappointed to hear that Switzerland was just as antisemitic as Germany. In the USA we were always taught how neutral Switzerland was.
Neutral but only in terms of not taking sides militarily.
The interviewer is not paying attention
The person has to keep repeating himself. Interviewer not paying attention
42 years before seeing his brother!
The Swiss people called them lazy bums. Listen to his story...a lazy bum he certainly was NOT!!!
Lovely man. I am making an observation, I love to listen to the mens' interviews as opposed to the womens' . Most of the women
seem to have come from middle to upper class families where as the men had more reality going on about life. They came from working class families and speak about how hard and simple life was back then.
bernadette black I find the same thing
I agree. Only watched 1 female interview that was interesting... Can't remember her name but it was the traumatized woman with the haunted expression. Now, I only listen to the men .
I find every one of them fascinating, man or woman. Every story is so very different. So many examples of bravery and courage.
It may be related to the poor & working class usually being more orthodox (especially further East) with the young women more likely to have small children at the time, making it less likely for them to survive.
@1:03 I believe the word is hostage
Thank you sir. Your wise words are heard. Respect💖✨️💖
WE will remember Harry- and yes- we MUST see OURSELVES whats right and whats wrong....Starving people too:(
I am absolutely dumb founded! How in the world did he survive all of those camps? Out of all of perhaps 50 or 60 survival stories I have listen to so far, Harry went through more camps and had to create a way to survive These in human situations! His ingenious way of survival is incredible!!! His experience in the coal mines what’s absolutely horrendous! I do wish he had explained more about his life in Sevierville. Sevierville is Dolly Parton country! It is in the mountains of Tennessee, about 45 miles from Knoxville Tennessee.I know the area well Because I lived in Knoxville for years and now live in Nashville
Such a lovely man who closely resembles Hollywood actor Patrick Stewart!
Yes. Also a bit like an older Gilbert Godfried
What a fascinating gentleman.!
The interviewer repeated the Q ‘s a lot .. Harry was a lovely down to earth man …😢
"We didnt have to take about hard times - We just knew it." I understand...
Emotionless interviewer, just sticking to his list of questions and trying to get out answers step by step but not irritating like female interviewers. By the way mr. Harry is very wonderful person.
The interviewer did not listen to Mr Weiss.
I wish the foundation could make several smaller files instead of one very big. Nevertheless, thanks for making history tangible and understandable
yes what a pity they cant make it more convenient for you to listen to my heart bleeds
You can make smaller files out of it yourself. These uploads are as long or short as they need to be because of what they are. You don't have to watch it all in one sitting.
A person who is forcibly held against his or her will as a means of forcing someone to pay a ransom to the kidnappers is a hostage.
I’m surprised the interviewer couldn’t help out Mr. Weiss with the word, especially since he came close to saying it correctly.
A wonderful man interviewer is so annoying
This interviewer is simply not up to the job. He is ignorant in so many ways. Even when prompted by his interviewee, instead of saying 'hostage' he says 'kidnap' and then 'detainee'.
❤️
Okay this man is amazing!
I wish they had spoken about whether they raised their kids Jewish and if Harry had kept his faith.
♥️💞♥️💞♥️😢😢🙏
He looks on the brink of death
Hostage
