Oh trust me, since the 2010's her (and Dazzler) have both becoming much more involved in the comics (without too much of a spoiler last year's Hellfire gala event and the sad ending of Krakoa has her reluctantly being told to be a mole among villains by a dying Phoenix)
I watched this on NBC Saturday Morning & My 1st exposure to Firestar, worth it.
She deserved more exposure.
Well, considering she was created for the show "Spiderman and his amazing friends" it's most likely you'd see her first on that cartoon show.

Because of her popularity on the animation she was later included in marvel universe.

She's not forgotten. She had been on the main X-Men team in the comics for a good year and a half before she then became pivotal in the fall of Orchis, another anti-mutant group.

FYI... They wanted to use the human torch from the fantastic four, but due to copyright legalise, they couldn't. They created Firestar for the heat hero.
It's because of the original Human Torch, Jim Hammond, from the 1940s. His creator didn't die until 1984, and that's when they were finally able to use Johnny Storm in animation.
Am SO glad they didn’t use Torch and made Firestar instead. She was the best thing about this show

Pity she never appeared in any of the later Spider-Man cartoons, her power would have been quite useful against Venom and Carnage.
I've probably only seen her once, outside of this show.
During Maximum Carnage, she nearly kills Carnage.

Firestar is one of my favorite female heroes and one of the last Marvel characters that needs a movie

Now this is a fine example of when Marvel's depiction of a female character is done right! The fact that this animation is from the early 1980s and does a better job of doing so as compared to the recent movies they have produced should be a wake up call for their studios to take a trip down memory lane to take notes on what this show had done right. I especially love the quality of this animation which puts to shame so many of the newer CGI based shows these days. Firestar was truly a standout superheroine not just in the animated Marvel universe but also among all other animated shows of that decade. She was only surpassed by other animated shows such as She-Ra Princess of Power and of course the X-men Animated Series that came out later in 1992. Anyhow excellent editing of her best scenes. I had not seen most of these scenes, so this was indeed a real treat! Where can we watch or stream all of the episodes in the same full screen high quality that your clips present us with?

I heard she might play Black Cat in a new Spiderman movie. I think she would be perfect for that role as well. If this was done earlier I think the actress who played Scarlet in GI Joe: rise of Cobra would have been good?
