This sheikh always clarifies all of my preconceptions and misconceptions comprehensively by giving valid evidence from Qur'an and Sunnah, His research is on another level and the best part is he explains it very beautifully, to me Fiqh became easy due to Yasir Qadhi

A very knowledgeable person who understands the importance of his lectures and doesn't need to add qasida or music to entertain us or to prove his editing skill. Other good lectures are spoilt with the stupidity of adding music. Thank you
@@omraanedits6374 that's not what Zahir meant, I believe. He meant to say, adding bells and whistles as background music to his talks to make them pop more. Zahir meant that YQ doesn't need that because his content is so good. Also, you don't know me Omraan. Not sure what you judged to give us a label. What happened to Ḥusn al-Ẓann? What happened to Sūrah al-Ḥujurāt Āyah 11? May Allāh increase all of us in knowledge.

I said he doesn't use it as a voice over which is great not like the others who spoil lectures using it. I personally find it so difficult to concentrate when others use it over important lectures, even Mufti Menk and Molana Tariq Jameel use it making me lose out on beneficial information. I appreciate that this Sheikh doesn't use it on any of his lectures including his podcasts which have deep knowledge. Listening to too many qasidas isn't a good thing, it's better to listen to the Quran or to lectures to increase the Iman.

I thought it must be 20 rakats, and that made me dread taraweeh because then I would sleep very few hours and wake up early for work. Thank god now I know it can be as many rakats as you want.

I agree with the sentiment. However 50 years from now I think 1080P as well as 8K will be looked in similar terms. At that point maybe something new altogether.
@@zeezeebo True, the craziness has already started but to be fair we are only experiencing minor signs. The major signs are yet to come, hopefully our generation would be long gone by then (Frankly I don't want to be around when major signs happen, it might be too much for ordinary folks like us to handle) Also, Sh.Yasir had done a few lectures on signs of day of judgement a while ago. Might be interesting to watch them again for a better perspective. Allah knows best !

When I learn new surahs, I lay the paper with the surah in front of me and pray my fard salah. So I read it from the paper in my fard salah. Is it allowed to do so? I do it with the intent to eventually memorize it, so I thought it wasn't a big deal.
Asalamaleykoum wa rahmatullahi wa barakathu...I pray isha combining with odd prayer (witr) and later ..one hour before fajr I pray (2rakat) for tahajud and also when fajr is time I pray the first 2 rakats am I wrong? and sometimes I finish late at work and pray isha at work with my witr combined is it wrong too? or should I make my last pray home? my working place is mine too
