    Thanks for showing a very good video. For once I see a video where I hear the sound of the machinery and absolutely no music. I wish that most other farm videos would be all common sense like yours.

      Add fuel and air and it will be any HP you want it to be! I had a 666 with 312 Natural Aspirated Engine that ran 108 hp before the PTO clutch slipped. What more that the 560 rear end would talk but we did 100% no-til and pulled a 15' Crust Buster No-Till drill with a tractor 1/2 the size that was supposed to be on it.

    Still running a 1066, we finally took off the duals (for keeps this time). Still use it for most other things. You're not supposed to start planters in the ground like that FYI. You can, it's just not recommended. (that would be a noob starting thing to do). I mean, you can, we bought one new back in the day so dad still harps me on how I drive it lol.

      I think his scv for lowering and lifting is a lil on the slow side so he has to stop to make sure its starts planting at the right time 🤷. I don't stop at all I just downshift a few gears lol

      @@OkieDoke18 You're right. I shouldn't have spoke on how to drive it, I mean it's obviously in good order. Hell most of our stuff was/is 6 row. But anyways, when Dad harps on you for life to "take care of it, yada yada, etc." it does get engrained a bit. That's a sweet nice looking piece of machinery though =p

    Are you running the planter off the tractor hydraulics or do you have a PTO pump?

    Would a 4020 pull that very well?

      @scottmekley7724 5 лет назад +1

      I'm sure it could but that's a bit much for a 4020 would be a lot better match for a 4320 or 4430. I plant with a 4020 and a 6 row white. They work well together.
