Persona 3 Reload is a role-playing video game developed and published by Atlus. Reload is a remake of Persona 3 (2006), the fourth main installment of the Persona series, itself a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. The game was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 2, 2024.

They changed the options, they should have stick with the P3P options, where you make cat sound, but Yukari mistaken it as fox, and you yelled "It's cat dammit." and then you fail, or another one when the you fail because you trying to fix Junpei towel. 😂

I'm actually glad they added an option (unless it was in the original non P3P versions) where you get out unscathed. Especially because Makoto & Akihiko weren't trying to be pervy whatsoever, and it never sat well with me that they got beaten up for it.
Makoto and Ryoji took the "take it to the grave" part literally.
Imagine if instead of just ending it with his death and talking about Minato, Nyx (Ryoji) says, "By the way, me and junpei tricked Akihiko and your friend into coming into the hot spring minutes before you entered. He said to take this secret to the grave and my grave is in space, so now you must know." Junpei gasps at the sudden realization that the girls can only take out their frustration on him as Ryoji and Mina are dead while Ryoji confirmed Akihiko.

At the very least there was a chance for these guys to escape. The Thieves weren't so lucky. Yes, I'm still not over it.
I just realized, P5 in general is a Stealth Game so why didn't we get a chance to escape in Strikers?

I'll never be over it. That was the one blemish in Strikers. At least in P3, you could say Ryoji and Junpei deserved it. In P4 & P5 Strikers, the "execution" was unwarranted.

At least they got only beaten up by the girls and Misturu didn't turn them into human ice popsicles like in the manga.
Funny enough only reason why that Niflheim wound up being an multi target attack instead of being a single target (Ryoji and Makoto both getting hit at the same time) is due to Ryoji deciding to be like, "Bet you can't hit two people at one time" while standing right next to Makoto like an idiot

Yeh it's really such an anime reaction toward such an accident. Persona can be realistic sometimes or embrace fanservice tropes other times

I mean isn't that always case with Persona Hot Springs scenes? Persona 4 had the guys walk in on the girls because THEY overstayed their welcome and the game treated it as a "haha, boys got hurt and girls won't apologize" thing. And the less I say about P5Strikers scene the better...

@@BardockSkywalker yeah it's pretty frustrating sometimes. Even for a trope you would think the boys would have at least put up some sort of argument or fight or something. I mean I don't want to be a buzzkill but sometimes they really don't know how to stand up for themselves, and the girls' knee jerk reactions get old quick.

I’m relatively from the more recent generation so I’m not sure about the standard when P3 was initially released, but despite the fact I agree with the statement completely. In the back of my mind I can’t shake the idea of “Well, this is a plot line from a good few years ago right? That explains the distasteful troupe” any OG P3 players here who can elaborate if it was really the case of “Yeah this was a standard troupe from back then” or “Altus just made them a little more easy to dislike” moment
@BleedingDaze01 To be fair Junpei and Ryoji did do this on purpose. And walking in on guys seemingly there to peep on you isn't a good look and you wouldn't be quick to believe it wasn't on purpose.
Well, that proves you can get out of the hot spring predicament without being executed by Mitsuru. Though I have a feeling that Mitsuru had figured out it was the guys sneaking around before being distracted by what the other girls were talking about. Honestly, the mini game is much more fun in P3 FES.

I kid you not I panicked, and I got everything my first try. My brother came in and watched after I said there was a hot spring. Scene and he watched and looked as shocked as I was when I escaped.
I have played the FES for about 2-3 times. It will be a few months before I play Reload as I wait for a sale. Mitsuru is my waifu for me!

When I played P3FES on the PS2 emulator, this part was one of the few times that I actually save stated on the game, and also the only time that I load stated. Motive being that my last save on the game was something like 3 days before the event lol

I saw that in P3P when you're the girl Protagonist, you can kinda choose to either get them caught or no, so I hope they also do a remaster where you can be the female protagonist 'cause that sounds cool, also they wouldn't add this but if they got caught and you could choose whether to tell the other girls or not, that'd be cool too.
