If you all like all the fancy patterns you should invest in a flat bed knitting machine. Hundreds of patterns and so much quicker too. I'm not say this instead of the circular machine is have four and would never not use them. But the flatbed are an awesome challenge with some fab multiple designs 😉
Thanks for the tutorial, my hat turned out great. I found a way to avoid the line though! Instead of using the regular knit stitches in the pattern section just wrap the two needles all the way around and at the start of every 2nd row wrap 3 needles for the first stitch and 2 for the rest. This gives you your offset stitches without any noticeable difference in the design.
@@asg5852 Hi - can you be more specific on the second row? If I do wrap 3 at the beginning of the row, it leaves 43 stitches. What do I do with the last stitch at the end?
Hi - I tried that and I got a huge hole where the 3 wrap arounds occured. Maybe I misunderstood you. I did w2 for the first row and then w3, w2 to almost the end and w3 for the second row. Is that what you meant? I then decided to try something else. I did a w1 at rhe beginning of the 2nd row and at the end of the 2nd row and that looks much better. I wish I could show you photos of the two.
This gorgeous pattern looks a lot like the simplified honeycomb stitch. I have a vintage pattern in my store for a unisex jacket cardigan using the knit stitch and "K1B" that has a similar appearance.
Did anyone figure out how to do this on a Sentro 48 without the line on the back? I love the pattern, but not happy with the two knit stitches on the back of the hat. Suggestions?
@@knitsofold So that means that you wrap 3 stitches twice? The beginning and end are next to one another. Wouldn't that leave large holes? I will try it because I really like the design.
THANK YOU FOR SHOWING HOW SLOW THIS TAKES! I’m working on a similar pattern (wrap 2 / knit 2) for @craftycaz and have been discouraged at how slow I am at this process. You show that I’m not alone in this taking as long as it does which is very encouraging. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
It's beautiful, you shouldn't worry about the length of the video. You're teaching very nicely and not rushing, but you should have shown how to finish it, for the beginner who will take up the project as it's beautiful , like my daughter had to come to me to learn how to finish it. ❤❤❤
You. just gave me an idea to try out of this pattern. Thanks so much for sharing. Your stitch looks great... Greets from Mexico. I just got my first addi and unboxed yesterday... I'm going nuts about using it... Don't want to do anything else but knitting :-)
Beautiful. It’s like Leonard’s but more up to date and I’m so glad I can see due to your camera angle. Sometimes I can’t see his. The color is Lovely and you gave great instruction.

You should make a tutorial or at least show the pattern on graph paper. Thanks.
A brilliant idea! It worked beatifully. Thank you!

@@theknittingenthusiast7420 I'm glad you found an easier solution. I haven't tried this for a while so deleted my comment so as not to confuse.
Good video, well explain (lasso around your needles)
Thank you soooooo much for this stunning pattern and an amazing tutorial! My Beanie looks amazing. I can't believe it is something I made! ❤🎉

Hello, thank you very much for this video. Can this pattern also be made in strips? So no tube but in panels
Awesome! Can't wait to try it and branch out with new stitches!
Can you do this pattern in the straight panel
Love the look I will definitely have to try this! I need to figure out how to do a matching scarf.
You are an addi knitting genius.
Great design! How about the Kacy or lacy k🤗
Hi there, I'm in the same group, this is awesome!! A braid would be awesome!
Good for you for branching out and doing a video! yay! This is really nice.
Wrap around hat :)
Gorgeous! (Found this through the FB group.)

It is awesome. I have a question. What happens if you just do the same for every row instead of have single stitches on the even rows?
Such a beautiful pattern. I need to try this. Thanks for sharing. Excellent tutorial as well. 👏🏻💐 Lacey links is great name for your creation.
Thank for sharing your patterns. How would I make a beanie but only one layer?
Thank you for taking your time in inspiring all of us 🧶🙌🖤
Looks relaxing and I love the name Lacey Links.
thank you so very much for the video love love this hat great job!
thank you for sharing ur knowledge.
Thank you for doing this at such an inconvenient time for yourself! It is appreciated & a beautiful stitch.
It was no trouble (except the internet speed). I needed a break from packing.
I can only imagine! I dread packing - said I’m living in this house until someone else has to pack for me!
@@tammypeters546 I'm moving because our landlord has been bullying us.
Oh my! How horrible! Best to get out of that situation then but so upsetting it has come to that!

Beautiful work, can’t wait to try
Brilliant! Can’t wait to try!
Absolutely beautiful, you do fantastic work. Hugs !!
Thank you
Thanks! Love this design. Have you tried making tubes for a blanket with this design?
I haven't tried that yet. I'll have to give it a go.
@@myaddi4874 great! Anxiously awaiting to see what you come up with
How long is the finished hat?
The ices aqua one measures 10 inches
This is so time-consuming, lol. It's almost like you can crochet it faster without the machine. 🤷
