    71. Been a fan since 2019. My young granddaughter began living with me and I wanted an alternative to the western music I didn't approve of. I found these young men and was blown away. We are both avid fans now and are planning a trip to South Korea next fall. She is respectfull, loving and bows to her elders.
I am terminally ill and BTS music has really helped me be positive through all the pain.
The love for these young men and their music is something only she and I share in our family. What memories we are creating with their help! (My memorial service will only have BTS music. Our favorites)
I can't say enough about what joy, peace and love we now have in our lives thanks to BTS.

I'm a 28 year old guy, and I've been Army since 2020. I'm sad I wasn't around since day one, to support them, and fight for them along their journey, but I can say that I found them in the lowest point of my life. I am as straight as they come, but I hold the boys dearly in my heart, love them way too much, and to this day they are still my light and hope in life

I purple you. Borahae.🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷

i want to give you few quotes from the boys themselves when they talked about army :)
j-hope: ARMYs absolutely... I feel like they've become an icon themselves. I'm so proud of them. They're amazing. ARMY is like an artist in itself now, too. Sort of like they're one big symbol of the era? ARMY is as famous as BTS now. I think we give each other good energy, and helped each other to make something good. It might sound obvious coming from a member of BTS, but if I were ARMY, I'd never be ashamed to call myself a fan of BTS. Anyway, I seriously want them to always know I'm really, really grateful for them
Jungkook: ARMY are the main characters. Everything we focus on comes back down to ARMY. We share in each other’s feelings & they’re the source of our strength. It’s not enough to just say ARMY & us like or love each other. There’s definitely more to it than that
Jimin’s 2021 birthday live: In the past, when I thought about armys, they seemed like my friends or colleagues. But you know, even with the members… we didn’t all get along from the beginning. We were all so different. We liked different things. We had different personalities. The 7 of us got together, and spent time together, and 10 years has passed. So it’s not simply a matter of liking this person or not anymore. I’ve developed feeling that I can’t describe. So at first when we started to get fans, and ARMYs came to existence, when we promoted on music shows with them, and communicated with them, they felt like friends or colleagues. In my head, it felt like we had our arms around each other’s shoulders. But time went on, the relationship went beyond friendship, and beyond that, and beyond that, and beyond that. So now, I can’t explain it. For example, if someone asks us “What is ARMY to you?”, I’d be at a loss of words. It’s hard to describe in a word. Yes, that kind of relationship we developed. Actually, we don’t have a distant relationship, but I can’t simply say it’s a close relationship. But you’ve become someone I love, and miss at the same time. I think, we love each other so much. You don’t talk about stuff like this in your everyday life. You don’t tell someone “I love you” all the time. But we do. We proudly say “I love you”. We have that kind of relationship. I really really wish for your happiness. Really.
Jimin’s 2021 birthday live: I met with some of my closest friends after work last night. And we ended up talking about you (ARMY) a lot. I really like these friends and… they said that I should be really thankful of you. So I said I know and I have to come to say hello to you after work tomorrow. I said I have to do a Vlive. That’s what we talked about. When I’m with my friends, we mention the word “ARMY” a lot more than you expect. When they’re joking around, and when someone teases me, I say “ARMY fans will come and get you”. They joke around together about that
Namjoon on a Vlive after the concert in 2022: We have something different and special too…our ARMY. Being together with ARMY. BTS in 2022 is really complicated and sophisticated. When you say BTS, it’s not just 7 boys, it includes the industry, maybe the Korean thing but mostly the ARMY. the point is, bts isn't just about the 7 boys. it's a huge wave consisting of various people! and what they ignore is the existence of the army. different races, different genders, so many different types of people are meaningfully involved in this name bts. i just want people to know that. we might not be great as the self-made artists or anyone else but we got something special too, we got something different than others, i think. that can be nationality, language we use and we write, but i think the most important point is that the army and the people who truly support us and not just supporting but being together with us. so when you say the name of bts, it's not just the 7 boys. it includes the industry, the korean thing, the asian, and mostly the armys that truly are together in our every day lives. it's not one way it's mutual. we give them something, they give us something, i mean you guys give us something. and i truly felt today as well while seeing you guys in person and hearing your voices, it comes from the heart, and it's about the soul. it's about sharing hearts and sharing souls. where we might not know each other, if i didn't do this team or music, maybe i would have a trip in las vegas and pass by you guys as a tourist from korea. but through the music, performance, and team, we can be something, we call this 인연 (meant to be) in korean but we became something, a relationship. and i think that's everything. life is unfair, a lot of unluck, happiness and joy are really short but we met each other so we made something great
2022 Vogue Tae’s interview: I want to be close friends with the members of ARMY, and I talk to them on Weverse whenever I have a problem or something I want to share. This is how I want to interact all the time - I don’t like a businesslike approach to anything. I take photos because I like to, I do things because I like them and I approach people because I like them. I accept that you sometimes need a business mindset, but I’m not very good at that. That’s my weakness
Namojon: I have to offer them the best night ever in their lives. So it’s a mess, and it’s too much energy. I’m a human and I really get nervous and I really sometimes get depressed by, and even get swallowed by, all the energies. But I try to deal with it because I love the music. I love their love. Because I think love is really happening when we give to somebody, not when we take. So I just want to give back to them. They brought us from just a small city in Korea, all the way back to the heart of this music industry, Las Vegas, L.A., New York. Me having an interview with Pharrell, it could happen because of fans all over the world. I’m just always grateful and I don’t want to disappoint them
Yoongi: Loving someone unconditionally is one of the hardest things to do. So for the people who love us, we have to do really well. And we need to come back as an entire team as soon as we can. In order to you know, stan someone, it has to be fun. We have a responsibility to make sure they have lots of fun and enjoy, however we can, I think that's our mission now. It's not about becoming more successful or about better results. Now, the fans try to make that happen. We should feel grateful for that and make lots of memories with them
Jungkook: The moment in my life when i'm the most happiest? When i see armys. That's when i'm the most happiest. That's why i like concerts. Of course standing on stage and performing live is nice, but without armys it's just singing. But i like singing and dancing with armys
An army's question: Would you still love us if we were bugs?
Jungkook: What do you mean? If you were bugs, I'd be bugs collector. I'll give you water, give you meal, raise each of you prettily. I'll make a forest in my house
An army once wrote a post agonising that they has to watch the concert though illegal stream and that they were ashamed that they couldn't buy a ticket
Jimin answered: Everything is fine. Don't hate yourself. Whatever the reason is, we will still love you. You are the reason i live. You are the driving force for us to be happy and work hard. Thank you sincerely. Thank you
Jimin to army: You, who make me feel all these things, should also feel full of happiness and be loved. You should. Got it?
Jimin: It's so heartening that we're growing old together. I'm never lonely thanks to army feeling the same emotions and reminiscing about the same things i do. I hope we can make you feel the same way and be a source of comfort to you at all times
Jin: 10 years, 100 years. Let's be together always. My life is filled with true happiness thanks to you, army
Yoongi: When there's something happy, just look around calmly. It's what my father always told me. I look around and army is all i can see

I am a 48 year old from Tennessee. I saw BTS perform Dynomite on America's Got Talent 2020. I was like, "Who are these amazing, beautiful, talented men?"
I went looking and fell into the rabbit hole. I am ARMY for life, and so is my 25 year old daughter.💜
I don't have money to buy lots of merchandise, but my daughter has spent hundreds of dollars. Her BTS collection is her most prized possession. I became an ARMY in 2020 so I am fairly new. They say BTS finds you when you need it most which is what happened to me. During COVID I was laid off from my job of 28+ years which was less than two years from retirement. Finding a job during COVID was extremely hard and being over 55 didn't help. During my job search I would workout everyday as a sanity break. When I was working out I heard Dynamite and found out it was by BTS. Then I heard Butter, again by BTS. Then I heard Permission to Dance by BTS and wanted to find out more about them and listen to more of their music. I started down the BTS "rabbit hole" and still haven't come out. My daughter bought us tickets to see Agust D in Chicago and it was the most amazing experience. The show was incredible of course and the ARMY's there were so kind! This is an awesome community that I am proud to be a part of. Keep up your reactions. I enjoy watching your journey.

45-year old American man. I was listening to Kpop in the 1990s before it was even a thing and expanded out to other forms of modern artistic genres. And after so long of just not paying attention to the Kpop scene, this week I finally went to check out my first BTS song and surprisingly discovered Jimin's debut album songs only to be so blown away by his genius. He now motivated me to go back to check out as much BTS as I'm able. 🎉💜 Absolutely love these guys now.

57 BTS found me during the beginning of the pandemic with Life Goes On. As with most everyone, I had lost everything that was normal to me. Then I heard this angelic voice on a Samsung commercial. I had to know who belonged to that voice. Jimin, my bias. As with the majority of us, each member snatches you heart at some point or another. I love all 7 of them. Thank you for joining all of us in this journey. Can't wait to see where we go next 💜

I am 54. I’ve known their music for the last 5 years, as my daughter was a huge fan in her teens. It’s just been in the last 18 months I’ve become ARMY myself. The newer music pulled me in, but learning about them and going through their catalog has been the most amazing journey. I’ve made friends from different places in the world, actually meeting up with one and hanging out on my last trip to Disneyland. My Bestie has become ARMY as well, and we flew 5 hours to LA to see Yoongi, stayed overnight, then flew home. It was the most amazing experience. Like one huge family. 💜

Im in the 50+ column. One of the things that I have loved is I have always been very open to new great music, but I found BTS through RMs SEOUL..... then I bought his album INDIGO and was blown away. The excitement has been addictive..... to find music so great and that felt so fresh, with a creative eclecticism that has me completely hooked. I became like a truffle hound just searching out more and more and more. Each new gem building the addiction. The great thing is also after you find BTS you can share them with your grandchildren.

Hi! I am 63 and have been army for about a year and a half. I have long Covid and spent most of the last year unable to work. BTS got me through some rough, painful days. Thankfully I am much better! They were in my peripheral hearing of songs and news, but never checked them out. Isolation can bring on sadness and I knew I needed to make choices to become happy. I remember seeing JHopes smile and did my search. That was it! Our sunshine and the 6 other brothers made me laugh and smile! I began seriously BINGE watching everything! X Celeste and Taylor’s documentaries; MV’s, dance practices, interviews and then discovered amazing reactors - including YOU! I love how caring and sincere each member is and they have a very special synergy. I wish there were more Army members my age where I live in Maine. I discovered BTS in 2016. I was 49 and I’m now 56. I have always had a great appreciation of music (thanks to an aunt who introduced me to classic jazz artists, Hendrix, Stones, Janis Joplin, and a wide range of other music when I was 8-9 years old when she bought me my first adult album, In Through The Out Door by Led Zepplin.)) and I’m always searching for new and interesting artists, typically foreign. (I like Russian alternative and French pop.). Anyway, I found myself watching BTS’ dance practice for fire and I was IMMEDIATELY hooked. I couldn’t get enough. I think I drove my husband and my mother insane. And all my friends. Fuck’em. I don’t care. I absolutely love the journey because it energizes me. I left a 25 year career in law to open an online clothing boutique and I literally lived and breathed BTS. My contemporaries are still listening to the same shit they listened to back in the 80’s and 90’s. I’ve always appreciated current music and I’m always searching for good music and entertainment. I’ve always trended towards like alternative, but I like a little of everything. I was a Beatles fan, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Marilyn Manson, EVERYTHING! I’ve seen all the greats in concert and have been a huge fan of them at the height of their careers. But NEVER in my 49 year endeavor into all kinds of music have I ever come across anyone like BTS. It’s a universe. A way of life. They honestly gave me the courage to sink all my savings into the my boutique and their words got me through some tough times and kept me pushing through a lot of struggles when I wanted to throw up my hands and give up. Suga said something that gets me back on my feet every time. Now I own four boutiques and BTS (and reaction videos when I can find time to sit down for a few minutes) is always playing. I listen to other stuff of course, but BTS is always on every playlist I have. Even my bluegrass playlist, lol! And if you plan to go Roma concert, just know it’s a process and you need to do a few things like join the ARMY to get access to buy the tickets as an official fan or you’ll end upmoaying thousands of dollars for nosebleed seats IF you can get them at all. And try for barricade sound check. It’s around $900 per ticket, but it’s worth it. That’s the one I got. I checked online and there was a ticket in the 23 row left if center stage selling for $25,000. Mine was priceless! I probably could have sold it for $50k, but the thought never crossed my mind. I was going and that was that. I’ll go again if they tour the states again. They go hard for over two hours.

A bit late to the party but here I go.
I'm 26 yo female from Poland (European armies are often overlooked, the focus being more on Asia and North America but we are numerous! 💜).
I've heard about "pop boyband" BTS and about "toxic, screaming on the internet, teenage fangirls ARMY" (🙄) when I was still in high school and about k-pop probably already in middle school but because they were so poorly represented in media, on the internet and there was (and still is!) a lot of prejudice I've never researched them nor listened to their music. I've came across them again in 2020, at the begining of the pandemic, while looking for cool songs and choreographies for my work-outs. They've got me hooked up really quickly and I've become an ARMY at the end of 2020 (right before "Dynamite" and "BE" dropped so I'm an ARMY of between "MOTS7" and "Dynamite"). ☺
Now I deeply regret not checking them out sooner, but hey! They say BTS finds you when you need them most! 😉 I've noticed that my mental health has been constanlty dropping for many years now (since childhood actually) and I am now at a very dark place in life. But I feel like BTS (and ARMY) is often the only thing that still keeps me sane and craving for the change. They are so inspirational, positive, hard-working and beautiful human beings! Pandemic didn't had a big impact on me because I was so engaged in diving into BTS' content that it kinda came and went before I even noticed lol. But my mental health is still dropping and BTS seems often like a lifeline, the lifebelt of mine... When the day and the life, and myself suck so bad I turn to them and I am able to smile again - it's something that sometimes even my closest loved ones cannot achieve. The bond that BTS creates with ARMY is really special, magical. There is THIS THING - we can never really describe *what* it is but we can all feel *it*. Love, fate, respect, friendship, partnership... It's all this but also so much more. I really, really love them and respect them from the bottom of my heart and I will be an ARMY forever. When you get here, you stay here, for a lifetime. And they wish to stay with us. APOBANGPO. 💜
I hope that BTS will keep me sane and motivate me until I can finally change myself and my life and go forward. I'll be forever grateful to them. I feel like I can only achieve that with their and ARMY's support. I'm having fun watching your videos MG, you nice keep going. Borahae to all who'll read this comment! 💜

56years old. I've been an ARMY for 6 years now. I've been regularly participating in charity projects, translating BTS' content for fan bases when they need help, voting, daily requesting BTS' songs to radios, streaming all day while working..... you know, I've been very busy "ARMYING" these past years 😅

@@MasterGo89 you r so right! However, it's more than that. kThese 7 angels keep me close to my (now) 18 yo daughter and they keep me mentally healthy..... lost my job since the pandemic, also my father with dementia died in 2020, and I lost my mom 3 months ago. Being a single mom for the last 15 years, my children, BTS and my ARMY family kept me going through tough times! 💜💜💜💜

I am going to be 35 yo this year and started being a BTS fan in 2015, so that makes me 27 then..that means, even at th3 start, I was not a screaming teenage girl. BTS is the only group I stan but I also listen to other artists, and I mean any artist I come across. I like particular songs of these other artists, but I did not really became attached to them like I am with BTS. They (BTS) just have the qualities as a music act, and as people that I resonate with.💜

Hi Yall! I will be 60 years old in August. I became an army in 2020 or 2021. I caught covid and stuck in bed. First video i watched was On. Like you learning the deeper meaning. That led to more videos. I was/am so proud of these young men. Each time they appeared at the UN i cried. Could not be prouder if they were my own children.
