This will be the light I will use this helps with consistency and the universal perk. Also, the light is on the cap, not above or on the side, interfering with your cup

It's an awesome bit of kit I have just started working at a new shop and the booth is quite dark so I'm using it a lot more. I let the other painters use it and they said they feel like they have been painting blindfolded lol

Hi Paul, great video mate and IMO one of your best edited to date it looks very professional, I'm liking that Walcom gun light it looks very well thought out as it's more than just a light the evo meter looks like it would be useful for the pro painter like yourself to help fine tune your spraying distances plus it's a good tool for the beginner.
See now you have made me want to buy something else😆 I've just decided on getting two of the Porphis guns and now you throw this into the mix🙄🤦‍♂😂thanks for sharing Paul👍

Loving your videos. I have to share my experience, mine 360 clear coat gun is much faster than Geo. You might wanna borrow it and try it. I have never tried Geo, just might get my hands on one and try how it’s working for me as I love how it’s going for you.

Thanks, I am lucky enough to have the hte clear coat gun as well, it's much quicker that the geo. But the clear coat we are using is quite thin so I favour the geo in this situation.

@@paulphillipspaintwork I was shooting UHS thick honey white that, original BMW orange peel. So since I can’t move pressure up due to “smaller” compressor setup, it just can’t be stable at 2.5bar, so I tried HS that is rated on the bottle 15-17sec on Ford cup, and it’s shooting awesome in 35celsius (even thinner). It’s using lot of material so it’s even faster, finis is almost glass.
I would like to try one thing to put split nozzle on clear gun, just nozzle if it fits, and leave clear gun cap with extra holes.
It might make it better it might make it worse.

    Hi paul
Looking for a new mini spray gun for smaller jobs. What gun would u spend your hard earned money on. Thanks

Personally, I have the walcom ego 190 motivated painters edition lol and used to have the Sata 4400 (a friend offered me good money for it when I got the ego so I sold it) both great guns. The iwata lph80 is an incredible mini gun. I think the ego 190 and lph80 are ture mini guns but the sata 4400 is a bit more versatile as you can paint small areas but full fan, full fluid at 2 bar the rp version has a massive fan and can be used as a kind of midi gun.

I'm looking to get me one of these Walcom Halo clear guns with the light,....i bought the lumaiii with the exodus 1.5 op clear gun I love the gun its amazing but the light is so bright you can't see your clear edge as your spraying so I use it just to check my coverage in the booth yea so a waste of money for the light I think for 300$ but we learn I guess.

I completely forgot to mention in the video. The walcom 360 true light is adjustable. By pressing and holding the power button you can increase and decrease the brightness, which is a big help. I know what you mean if it is too bright it just makes the visibility of what you are doing worse so defeating the point of having a spray gun light. The Walcom light is definitely helpful in that way.

I will say though these Walcom's are the highest clear gun out there,I'm not to happy about that but I'm currently using the Sagola 4600 xtreme 1.2xl

@travlite8496 it's probably a lot to do with the r'n'd side of making them and the carbon aspect of them.

@@paulphillipspaintwork True I know Sagolaq just came out with a new gun also it's a bit lighter but you can take the spring out of the new one and buy the new tips and put in the old one just a big marketing thing if you check out Pete's Hobbies on here you can watch him he buys all these guns and tells you every secret and if anything really has been changed he's from your side of the pond but knows his stuff. He turned me onto Porphis I really like them I just want to see how long they last.

It's versatile and universal with the distance feature and go pro ability, so it seems worth it if you can benefit from the features like he did by shooting footage on go pro
