your university friend is absolutely right, your spinach curry is the most delicious one of all that i have tasted even more delicious than any meat with spinach curry, thank yoù very much again , am so grateful to you, another healthy recipe for the diabetic with dyslipedimia like me
Thank you so much!! I'm really happy that I have helped you enjoy recipes that are good for you! I appreciate your comments on all my recipes you've tried and I'm most happy that you are enjoying them! It serves my purpose for doing this!
I made this spinach curry tonight and it was delicious! The only thing I did differently was add a little bit of milk at the end (didn’t have cream) and then reduce it until most of the liquid is gone, leaving a creamier texture like found in the restaurant. This is my new favourite curry.
This is wonderful! I'm sure it was delicious after adding a bit of milk too! I eat it with Kadhi, which is yoghurt based and it's delicious with that as well. Here's the recipe for Kadhi if you'd like to try it: ruclips.net/video/iI0YQt9_ObI/видео.html
i just tried this tonight because i had bag of spinach i wanted to use up and looked on youtube for a recipe. I'm very very impressed with it, i'm going to be cooking this recipe from now on many many more times. I had a fresh chilli i wanted to use so i used garlic ginger paste and the fresh chilli instead of the garlic/ginger/chilli paste and chilli powder. thank you!
Thank you so much Dev! I'm glad you are enjoying the recipes! Yes, I love Gujarati food too and will try to share as many recipes as I can. Any requests?
I adore this recipe! it tastes just like the dish as served since the '70s at my favourite indian restaurant in london, the 'curry paradise', a must try for anyone who loves spinach!
Thank you, mam, I enjoyed your recipe. I have a little suggestion for you, you can add some vegetables like potatoes, pumpkin, brinjal and whatever as you wish, that will make it more delicious and healthy.
This is by far the best spinach dish Ive ever tasted. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I was looking for one that doesnt have dhall in it. So simple to put together and you're right about not cutting back on the amount of oil😍
Thank you so much! Yes, you can definitely use frozen spinach for this recipe. Just make sure you've defrosted the spinach first and chop it if it isn't chopped already. Enjoy!
You can make this curry with regular spinach. Fenugreek has a very different flavour and I have a delicious fenugreek and potato curry recipe on my channel so check that one out 😃 I also have a fenugreek fritter recipe (methi na gota ) which is yummy too!! I’ve got you covered 😉
This tastes simply out of this world carefully wrapped in a proper home made Roti which absorb all the tasty juices...Might try squeezing lemon to give it a brighter green next time.
I’ve never made it without onion but have added tomatoes in addition to the onion and it comes out fine. Onion helps to sweeten and cream the spinach together. But not everyone eats onions. So, yes, try it with tomatoes instead and see how you like it😊 I’m sure it’ll be delicious!
Curry is actually a mixture of spices, which I give individually in the recipe. I like to customise each recipe based on the spices I think taste best in it. Having said that, I do use curry powder in some meat dishes. I hope that answers your question😊

Thank you so much! Yes, you can definitely use frozen spinach for this recipe. Just make sure you've defrosted the spinach first and chop it if it isn't chopped already. Enjoy!
I bought loads of raw spinach yesterday, that I want to make a curry with
Can I use Fenugreek leaves, are the similar?
Thanks

Awww thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed it!! I don't know if the colour will change as I haven't tried it with lemon, but you never know!
What sort of pan is that? Just a normal non-stick one?
You can use any non-stick pan. I like marbleised pans or heavy duty ones. Checkout my store on Milhaan.com 😃
ha haaa ! with your help i can do anything !
Glad to hear it!! Well done 😃👍🏽👌🏽
@@MilhaanHome it was delicious
will it still taste nice without the fenugreek?
It will be nice but fenugreek seeds give it a lovely, subtle flavour. Try it either way 😊

I thought this was Guyanese, you almost fooled me
Oh wow!! It must be similar! I hope you enjoyed it 😃👍🏽♥️
Not trying to be wise ass but where is the curry in this recipe? The title is curry spinach 😢
Curry is actually a mixture of spices, which I give individually in the recipe. I like to customise each recipe based on the spices I think taste best in it.
Having said that, I do use curry powder in some meat dishes. I hope that answers your question😊
not being rude.. you are not cooking.. you are teaching maths..
Interesting thought! An added lesson😊
