@@anseljames5531 at one of the winter jam shows I went to, someone asked John during the Q&A if fight the fury will be coming out with anything new, John replied “nothing right now but he wants to” he also explained that Covid put a pause on a bunch of stuff he was working on, so maybe at one point this song and a bunch of other songers were being made but got put on the back burner do to Covid
It's good to see there is an actual metal side to this band, rather than just "the Christian Slipknot." Hopefully their full album will have more thrashy stuff like this.
Fight the fury steals skillets thunder again, my demons could have been skillets next mega hit song after monster but no, this song fits the sound and aesthetic of victorious so well and would have been a great addition to it, but no.
But this is nothing like skillets style, not even anything off of collide or comatose really resembles what FTF does. Skillet went from electronic/industrial rock in the 90s and early 2000s. To nu metal/alternative rock/metal from 2003-2009. Now they just combine them all into one album. Adding a song with the same style as fight the fury would be a unnecessary change.
