she's phenomenal. the control and technique she has is so impressive, especially for how young she is. her dances are always so polished, which is why I love watching her dances.
She does dance with emotion without showing it with cheesy expressions she is showing emotion through her moments. She came first place for a reason, you can criticize her performance all you want but realistically nobody dances perfect and this girl is one of the best under 12 dancers probably in the world. She is absolutely amazing look at all of her routines, her versatility is amazing as well as her technique and she is already famous imagine her full potential!
This child is crazy talented, can anyone say, dance teacher's daughter. I suspect her technical beauty is because of that extra time and extra sense of expection from Mommie that has made her an incredible performer. I wish I could dance like that who wouldn't. Dang!!!!!
she is just amazing. ive watched all of her routines a bunch of times and still cant get over it. i wish i woulda danced at the studio she does, maybe my kids will, lol. but i have noticed that her turn sequences seem to be pretty similar in all of her dances. she pulls them off flawlessly regardless, just a note.
who ever is making fun of this 11 year old is JEALOUS!!! She is AMAZING for her age. I own a dance studio... don't say I don't know what I am talking about. She is good for a 15 year old!
I think she's great. And just because their are people better than her doesn't take away the fact that she's a great dancer too. And even though she doesn't show emotion through her face, she shows it through her body. And that's exactally what dance is about.
Choreography was perfect for the lyrics...which is what lyrical is. This is what costumes are for lyrical these days. Very pretty. Beautiful spins and expression. Keep dancing, darlin'.
Lovely extensions, lovely fast turns, great elevation on the leap, really nice expressions in the arms... Great great dance. With age and maturity I believe she will get even better, even more strong in her expressions and delivery and have cleaner transitions. She will be one to watch!
i think you guys should stop critiquing. she is not a bad dancer and this piece is not terrible, it just hasn't matured yet. we can all remember our first lyrical dance and how hard it is to put the right amount of emotion into it. So shut your holes and enjoy the art.

I like the costume and pink is my favorite color, but it's more for a jazz dance, not for a lyrical routine. She's a great dancer, she makes everything look so easy!
I like how she dances "sideways" a lot - or facing stage right. It's an interesting and different view of all the lines that dancers can make. Great job :)

I can imagine what she would be abble to do in a future!! besides, she puts feelings, maybe she should try harder in that part, but this only will give it to her the experiences on the stage and the years :D amazing!! go girl!

im a turner myself, but a triple leg turn is not in my vocabulary. your very well rounded. keep it up, because it gets harder the older you get. your phenomenal ! WERK.
wow. i'm 4 years older than this and i'd be happy if i was a quarter as good as her. she's VERY good and it makes me depressed as i will never be that good...
Alexis, I think you have great technique and lyrical quality, and your medal and title achievements are proof of that, so don't listen to any of these negative youtubers. I would like to add, though, that your relevé definitely could be higher in your pirouettes, as your heel sinks a little. But that's it! And this was 2 years ago, so you may have fixed that already. Just do what you love and love what you do!
I actually love the costume I think it is gorgeous. The only thing I can think possibly isn't lyrical enough for people is the color but I think its perfect! She is amazing and people have to find something to criticize so they picked the costume bc there isn't anything else.
