hi, i've bought the backing track and i want to reproduce this sound. I have Bias fx 2, that can emulate preset, and spark amp too. Could you tell me what i must use ? i've got the ds-1 available, chorus too, what's the other things ?
I like how relaxed he is (the playing is as well). It's nice to see someone not swaying, nervously jittering their knee, grimacing, etc, while playing, yet his music/playing still has emotion - proves this level of skillful guitar music can be pulled off without overdoing it. Nicely done, man.
Beautiful playing. I hadn't heard Jan play before but respect what he accomplishes with JamTrackCentral. I also understand why he features Jess Lewis on this channel a lot. You don't have to always play a lot of notes to make music on a guitar even if your technique and abilities say you can. Just the right ones with tone and feeling that reach into the listener's heart and soul are just as effective.
I bought the Hoodlum Album 1993 in a small record shop in Canterbury. Still listening to it with great pleasure. Thank you for your remarkable tone and musicality!
This is my favourite song by you, Jan... it's incredible, I have no words, since the first time I heard it, I go to another universe each time I heard it... Thanks for your music, you're my favourite guitar player... you are amazing, Jan :)

that 1:30 transition! his inner timing clock was spot on. so creative
Jan Cyrka - My jaw dropped when I first heard this. Everything about it is impeccable. I also LOVE the combination of electric guitar and piano; so much so it inspired me to write a similar track of my own. It's called 'C Minor Track' and I posted it as a response to this video if anyone is interested. Thanks SO much for the inspiration!
I love the way! Jan's Playing Style..Also Most underrated guitar player of all time, you can feel he's huge experience in playing, hes total control to give those dramatic dynamics, not just speed most of guitarist do,but he deeply feel whats doing that's the big different..a true! legend!
What a guitar player like Jan can do to any backing track is pure magic. Since I saw the way you use the tremolo I started taking advantage of mine too. Thanks for the inspiration
Unfortunately people prefere listen to pop music.....He's really such an amazing player.....And he has one of the most beautiful vibrato in the world......I love his album Prickly Pear
Great song! I knew it since I started playing electric guitar about 15 years ago maybe. I love all of your compositions. "In The End" is my favorite. I love to play it!
Different style than most guitar players using tremolo bar instead of vibrato while bending but that's not bad :) It's making an original style of Jan Cyrka. Very nice.
I was expecting some big shredding from a reverse headstock-floyd rose-strange central humbucker-full of stickers-guitar and a weird-looking guy with a strange shirt, but I was wrong. Love it!
Amazing. Great tone, technique, feel it’s all there and I love the vibrato with the floyd. I might get the backing track from JTC, I could never play it like Jan but then I don’t think that’s the point. There is plenty of scope to do it your own way and I will play my own version on my Telecaster all the way up to ‘11’.
I've heard three of Jan's songs on the jacktrack site, and I love every one. Going to learn them on my guitar. He actually understands what a ballad or a more mellow, moody tune should be. Not a ton of crazy fast, single-note runs out of nowhere. Wish I could find more artists like this. Some of the other songs on the site are promising, from other musicians, as well.
