my dad had one just like it except the chrome trim was gold he always said it had a police interceptor motor in it with a 4 speed what ever kind of motor that was lol this was in 1972 somewhere their about Dad's gone now but his car memories are here with me still take care of that old ford she looks good

I love the fairlane … ive had a hankering for years to buy an old 1958 (or some where around there) Ford Edsel station wagon and put it up on 2004 f250 axles on 38x14.50 tires and just take it to car shows .. so far i have all the truck axles but the problem is they want money first a nice edsel wagon . Lol
Cruise night , skirts on ,at the races skirts off . Nice new addition to your shop .My Dad had a four door Wagon ,Red . With a 312 V8 . He always ran straight pipes , no mufflers , in all of his cars . Great memories in that car. Thanks for another video ,with a cool story .🔧🔩😎👍
I'm so glad that you are keeping it Ford powered. There is nothing wrong with a 302/auto. My 1988 Ford Ranger 4 x 4 the little truck. Came with the "big" engine a 2.6 V-6 when I bought it brand new in late 1987.Me being the genius that I am I traded in a 1985 Ford Mustang GT on it. A few years ago I swapped in a 302/C-4 into the Ranger and just to cheese off my neighbors . I put in a noisy gear drive. And since you can only see one side of the car at a time. Put a skirt on the passenger side and leave the driver's side off or vice versa.
I have seen very few cars that fender skirts look good on but I think the skirts look good on her. It is sharp either way but the skirts make her look down and dirty. Keep up the cool vids, thanks.

That lower valance come from the big trucks. F600 and such. I put one off a big truck on my 78 f-250 when I was younger. The cabs and fenders are the same on a lot of those older rigs from the f100’s up through the 650s.

I have also seen a similar blue car it had a swapped in y block 292v8 in it and i know of two 56-57 Ford Fairlane cars that have fe 352's in them
