Aww, thanks for all the love! I'm trying to get motivated to make more videos... sorry for the wait! The weather is nice out and I'm going to take you on some hikes with me!
I had one of these types of camper shells over the summer for my tacoma picked up for $180. Dumped for $70. So cheaply made! Tried to adjust mine a bit and it basically fell apart. Suprised you took the time to restore this one. The fiberglass shells are so much better quality. I can appreciate the effort put into this though
I went the cheap way and got one for $100 didn’t fit and one side glass missing, everyone said they would throw it away so that just made me want to fix it more, stripped it down cut the front off to make it fit, fiberglass the front and side so the free window I got fit, all I need to do is paint it but it’s just too hot outside I’ll wait, anything can be fixed just take time, nice job you did and thanks for the video
Jens Williamson, III (Deaf) I think that you did a good job. 👍 "Way to Go"..... I have Chevy S10 pickup with ARE Hard Shell Camper (8' long bed. All white...I am happy. ❤ Fact: The Leer Camper is "Classic". You will know. Okay! Thanks for your time. Have a good year in 2023! Respectfully, Jens C. Good idea! 💡 It works for me. 😊 Great Idea! ➡️ Use the Warm Apple Pie Candles in my Camper. I love it but the deer will come anyway because of Warm Apple Pie Candles. Where to buy: Walmart! No Skunk 🦨 Lol 🤣
Good for you. Looks good. I have the same camper shell. And had the cracks in the same place and fiberglass repaired them on the inside using Bondo. And soon more appeared. So I put down a strip of more Bondo, with the W/fiberglass added, under the entire length of both windows. Being the narrowest part of the shell. It makes sense that it cracked there. I would recommend though if using J B Weld use the slow drying version for it is much stronger rated at 5000 PSI +.
Welcome to the camper shell world. Enjoy. Now for the critique of your video, Fantastic, informative, detailed. Enjoyed it very much. Don't know why I said critique, just felt like sounding smart. Lol Have a great day, stay safe.

You are a Renaissance creature. Please don't make me wait so long for your next endeavor.💚🌵🌞

Yay! I am planning some adventures now and can't wait to share!
In time, you can add a tent or screen room for relaxing, cooking and watching a movie. you've got it made!

This was a great video build and an inspiration for me when I do my build out
Great job! I love seeing how different people come up with ideas for their truck caps. Great video
epic sando time 👍
nice job fixing up that canopy.
Awesome!
Well done! Stay safe.
You two are amazing!
Thanks! We had fun working on the camper and only (almost) killed each other once!
Haha, I believe it!
Fantastic. Enjoyable vid.
Very good diy
Good job
You've probably done this already but I would strongly suggest getting some proper camper top clamps, and I recommend at least 6 (3 per side).
What number of grit did you use with the sander? Very excited to do it
What type of truck do you have? And how long os the measurements of the bed of the truck
I really enjoyed your video and learned a lot. Thanks again!
good job
Do you know what type of material those tops are? I have one myself, and was wondering what kind of epoxy to buy
Is the frame and platform screwed together, or just sitting loose?
How has that sealant held up?
Lokoooo😜🤪👀🤪
What app do you use to edit videos if you don’t mind me asking?
I rather buy a good one for more than expent all that time and money and still have an old bit up camper
I love what you did keep up the good work. My only thing is you lost me with the pig strips & chicken eggs. 🤮
👏👏👏👍👍👍
