    Gentlemen- very grateful for the episode. Many of us out here are 3.0+, 4.0+ players who know we will never be pro pickleball material but want to play the best game that we possibly can. This show is exactly the kind of content that we are seeking to give insight into ongoing improvement. Kudos for the excellent work and for bringing on Jordan to help.

    Jordan gives the me the chillest surfer dude vibe. Nothing is too important or too big of a deal. Everything is just chill

    In doubles, the quickest way to get to 5.0 would be having Ben Johns as your partner for a tournament 😊

    Jordan's take on ball machines is smart.

    I enjoyed the podcast and insights from Jordan. Jordan has a lot of knowledge. Thank you, Jordan for sharing. Thank you, Braydon and Kyle for having Jordan on your podcast.

    Lol, wait a second, so pros using Engage or the 002 need to cool their paddles to pass, but then when they take them out in match play (you know, where it's hot outside), they would not pass 🤔. Something seems wrong here.

    Great episode! Great content with Jordan! Braydon, I'm looking to pick up a Mach 2 Forza but wanted to wait until your colab paddle is available. Any updates on a release date?

      They were finished and shipped by air from the factory on June 25. Typically takes a couple weeks from the shipment date to arrive so should be here pretty soon though I haven’t heard an exact date from them yet.

    Coach > Ball machine for sure. BUT after getting coaching for your game. I would get a ball machine to practice reps if you do not have a drill partner.

      Idk, the thing is though, if you’re somewhat of an athlete you can diagnose the problems yourself. There’s alot of info on RUclips, you can record yourself and then compare and see what you’re doing wrong.
      If you compare 1k ball machine vs 1k dollars worth of coaching. 1k is let’s say 10 hours of coaching. I can get that 10 hours of reps in 5 days with 2 hours a day. Then let’s say a month 2 hours every day, that’s 60 hours of honing in technique. I think that goes a long way.
      But if you’re clueless and have poor body awareness, then a coach is probably necessary.

      @@adamheath4599 I think the main difference between doing it the way you describe and having a coach is the speed at which you will develop the skill your working on. A coach streamlines the information process and you can make the same improvements that would take a while of watching videos into time on the court

      @adamheath4599 Месяц назад

      @@EdwinPBGT I’d have to say I disagree, a coach may increase the speed it takes for you to understand the technique. But actually developing the technique, I think having a lot of reps is the best way.
