    The ice cube thing is also great to practice hypnobirthing. Hold the ice and focus on the pain for 1:30 then do it again for 2 minutes but listen to a story that takes you somewhere like to a beach feeling the warm water, the sand under your feet and so on and before you know it, the 2 minutes is over and you haven’t noticed the pain. However, I took a bag of ice and put it on my lower back where I get period and labor pain and it worked.

      I just did that! I saw your comment after it. I usually use this method without i knew it was method. But anyways i keep thinking about something else to play with my brain😂 i don’t want my brain to focus in pain! The pain is totally gone when i think about another things! I hold mine up to 2 minutes and could do it more.

    Huh. Gonna try this. With my births I am very quiet and being the pain into myself. My midwife and husband constantly check on me and ask how I’m doing because I’m so quiet.

      Hoping u get an answer! I’m not a doctor at all. But I hear Sarah lavonne on her channel say the only way to know whether or not a baby is too big to fit through your pelvis is to try and that it’s hard to say absolutely a baby is too large before birth has happened. Ofc listen to medical advice over mine but figured I’d share what Sarah lavonne said…

      @@yvonnearthur8521 OMG, I know this is a year later but no doctor should be discussing a csection at 28 weeks! A big baby is also not a reason for a c section.

    I tried this. The way I tolerate pain is thinking it Will be over soon & staying quiet waiting for it to go away 😂 I hope this helps me in actual labor

    Another GREAT and informative video! TY again for future insight & knowledge!!! Can ANYONE answer this question for me? I have been having heart palpitations frequently for a cpl of months now. They happen so randomly. IK it cld be a wide range of things but is there anything i need to be concerned abt? I am aware that I shld tell me provider but I also want to act cautiously bc I am having a natural home birth in a cpl months, I dnt want to alarm my dr's office bc they may deem me "high risk" and then i wont be able to have a natural home birth at HOME. H.O.M.E. is thee ultimate goal! Anyone experience what Im talking abt!?? Thanks & God Bless!!!

    • @CajunStork
      @CajunStork  3 года назад +1

      Get a cardiac evaluation from your dr’s referral. Palpitations are often benign but you need an evaluation to confirm. I’d cut out caffeine while you are waiting on the eval too!

      @@LoveAimshigh hey, I have a heart murmur too and also had this start happening around 6 months.
      My midwife said it could be the increased blood flow. Hope you’re labor and delivery went well!

      @@ASMRKay_ Thanks girl, actually Labor 7 Delivery went Superb BUT 2 wks after having her I had a Heart attach. Dr's said it was unrelated to birth. But its called SCAD. Very rare esp for me. I'm in my early 30s. Doing a little better now. Enjoy the rest of your yr!
