I’ve always felt that for the average person the iPhone 12 series would be perfect whether it’s the standard 12 or the 12 Pro Max. I mean as long as you have a 5G phone you’re going to be fine as most people who upgrade are simply tempted by the commercials, they see, and want the status of having a new phone even though the 12 provides everything the average person could ever need. Most people don’t have a RUclips channel or do editing and they don’t share files, or even play heavy games. Once you have a 5G phone, you should pretty much be set for the next five years or so. When the battery has deteriorated enough or connectivity has become an issue, it may be time to upgrade, but I would say the iPhone 12 seriesshould be good for at least five years. Once your phone is running fine getting a new software update is irrelevant because your phone is already working great. I know it’s about selling phones and making money but most people who go out and buy the newest phone are wasting their money, as what they already had was more than enough!

I'll keep my 12 PM. The photo's are fine and unless I need a USB-C port for some reason I'll wait for the 16 or 17 which hopefully will be more enticing.

When you talk about one phone outlasting another because of updates, how necessary our updates once your phone is up and running and fine-tuned? I mean there are people still using iPhone 7 and eights and tens And the phones are still running fairly well. I mean I was going to buy an iPhone 8 Plus off of eBay just to play with and then I saw that they’re still selling for a pretty decent price and I backed off. Apparently there’s quite a few people that think they’re still fairly useful. Once your phone no longer receives updates doesn’t mean that it’s obsolete. It’s simply means it’s reached its peak performance and what you have is the best it’ll get!
Well some RL examples of the camera would be great, and the 321 method of testing the speed-not great either, I'm assuming there is a way to actually benchmark these to show some solid data

What about the speaker difference and also how do wireless headphones compare with wired headphones on each and how is the difference between the 14pro max and the 15 pro max and would you think it would be worth upgrading or if you have the 14 pro max would you recommend waiting for a 16 or 17 to be released? You said the 12 pro max has been out since 2010 ? So they have had the way better phone than the IPhone 6s some kind I still have one but forget what they called the big screen 6s? How long before you can get the new phone is it out in Apple? And what is actually being done when you download a new 17.0 update???

Our 12 pro max's are pretty neat phones and we have plenty of lightning cables, etc. I prefer the stainless steel and finish to the new insta-chip/scratch titanium and finish the new phones have. There are plenty of videos where the back of the 15 looks as bad as your 12 if you press on it too hard. Another instant feature I don't want.
my 12 pro max looks like new :) I always used a case and screen protection and nothing happened even though it fell. I have doubts if it would be the case with 15 pm
