Give this Painted Lady Opal Some Love! Birthstone?

- This video started as a video about, “the top 10 birthstones of all.” However, I was not able to complete that video by my deadline, so although I do show many birthstones (including peridot, sapphire, tsavorite garnet, citrine, emerald, amethyst, bloodstone, tanzanite, turquoise, opal and many others), The main emphasis is on opal
In the PULITZER UNIVERSITY section, I show and discuss natural black Andamooka matrix opal and Painted Ladies.
Watch as I make (in fast motion) TWO ARROWHEADS, one of crystal opal and another of Bloodstone from India. BOTH WILL BE GIVEN AWAY, along with a vial of dazzling opal flakes, 2 painted lady opals and a piece of polished natural black Andamooka matrix (UNTREATED AND BEAUTIFUL!)
DO NOT MISS the "AFTER VIDEO” in which I show 14 of the VERY BEST OPAL CABOCHONS that I own - BEFORE they are sent to my jeweler, who is preparing settings to put them in.
I know you won’t read this, but if you do insiders in Pulitzer Opal community believe that this is the very best video that I have done so far.

It's always astounding to see you go back through the opals you've cut previously. Some absolute stunners in your collection.
Awesome video. I've really been enjoying the old fashioned opal education! You and your videos well...rock. Thanks for the amazing content and hello from Houston. Don't mess with Texas yall.
@@PulitzerOpal So awesome! Yes your right. Nothing like the way people treat one another here. I was born in San Antonio!!! Been in Houston since 1998. Haven't been to Louisiana in a long time but have quite a few memories there. Gambling and a few visits to bourbon Street and the super dome back in the day. I've done it all here in the H. I've gotten into carving opal ever since the pandemic hit as a hobby and I am really enjoying it. Cheers to you and your family and what a fun response ;)
The way you break those opals is mesmerizing and heart stopping at the same time. No wrong moves
Few people in this business have the flair for storytelling but you my friend, have it in spades! Thanks for helping entertain this opalholic... there's a couple places you can go to watch people cut opal and that's good for us opalholics but only one place to come to watch beautiful opal being cut and to be truly entertained while watching it and that's here, with you my friend. Thanks for all the time and work...you are truly a master at your craft.
*Congrats on the 50K Subscribers milestone!*
Congrats to all Pulitzer Opal Giveaway winners!
*Congrats on relocating 3 tons of stones!*
Looking forward to those beautiful Pulitzer Opal cut gems being set in jewelry!
You have an amazing personality, and I always love watching your videos!
I'm a new jeweler and opal cutter. I have been cutting opal for about 2 years. I'm really impressed with what you do. You are literally my hero, because you do your own work with the settings and the opal cutting and everything I do aswell. One day I hope to be as skilled as you!
@@PulitzerOpal Also I was sure I was subscribed, I don't know why I wasn't don't worry I fixed that.
@@PulitzerOpal I sent the videos to your Instagram
I thought I had seen all the variations of Aussie opal, but that natural purple Andamooka opal was stunning. I might have to have a word with Riley. Thank you for the great content. I feel your pain with the workspace issue. I have been pushed outside into the exposed outdoors for my workshop. The thing we do to ease the opal fever.
I know a lot of people talk down about Ethiopian opal, but those specimens at the end of the presentation were some of the prettiest things I've ever seen. Great collection, brother!
This may be one of my favorite videos so far! I'm sorry it was such a pain in the ass to put together. First off, I love when you go professor opal on us! I love the way you educate us. I loved that I got to see more of your workshop. It's like getting a peek behind the wizard's curtain. More stunning stones. I am going to look for the next video that will show me the stones after they were set. Thank you as always for the hard work you do so you can share your beautiful opals & vast knowledge with all us!
I am totally greateful for your "no fun"- depiction of a CPR. Thank you so much.
It's those potentially lifesaving short instructions, that keep our society going.
Beautiful stones today! Those arrowheads from last video turned out so amazing too. Looking forward to this weeks giveaway!
Congratulations to all the lucky winners!
Nice to see your best stones.
@@PulitzerOpal I'd like to see them. Even your worst is going to beat my best.
I can’t wait to see the jewelry from your opals! All the stones are amazing. I’ve been watching your older videos so some of those opals I remember.
gosh that opal that spirals when you turn is going to be absolutely nuts - the pivoting setting is an inspired choice. Congratulations on 50K!!!
I love how you capture all the colors and flashes! I can only imagine what you'd see in person!
Holy carp, that Andamooka black is amazing. I didn't know opals could naturally be purple, that's gorgeous! And the crystal arrowhead? Phenomenal!
I love the arrowheads. I checked every day for a new video. Pulitzer opal rocks. Thank you for sharing your opals with us. Beautiful...
I love Opal. It has the BEST visuals of any stone out there.
Pov: it’s 3:00am but Pulitzer just dropped a video
7pm where I am. I’ve been hanging out for this lol
Wow, you sure do make some purdy arrowheads, this one is particularly beautiful. Just keep blowing our minds and rock on !
My grandparents (rest their souls) loved opal. Especially my grandmother. Having been trapped in the diamonds are better universe that society pushes us towards (and finding out what crystal was when younger) I never did understand their fascination with opal. Now that I’m in my 40’s and have come to understand the importance of the finer things in life I am thrilled to have found your videos a couple years ago 👏. Love your dry humor coupled with your educational side of things, showing the beauty of the stones. Keep up the great work! Look forward to more videos in the future!
Love the cross-cut ones. Makes for very interesting stones when several colour bars are on display like that.
Wow, they are all beautiful…but the ones that we hadn’t seen are just stunning and amazing! 🤯
I saw Sheila's second cousin twice removed, peddling handbags at the local Forever 21. I tried to get her to come with me and change her ways... she said the only way I could get her back on the straight and narrow is to have something shiny waiting for her at my home! She says to tell Sheila not to forget about the eye shadow she borrowed in middle school. Love the videos... keep on grinding!
Great diversion from the norm Colonel… you never know what you will learn here and that keeps us coming back. The pets were restless got their air time which is much appreciated. Those single frame goodies keep us pausing and rewinding… brilliant as the opal shine. Carry on sir!
Absolutely love your videos! Opalholics get their fix every time you post!
Every single one of those opals is stunning! I love seeing how beauty can be hiding in the rocks!
Captain you're the funniest educator on opal youtube, each video i laugh and learn something, there is no failure here

I’ve always said “A day that goes by and you haven’t learned something new is a wasted day.” As much as I would love to have one of your beautiful Opal’s, I would be thrilled with a vile of the chips, I have several Opal chips for my crystal display and to add to it with your chips would send me over the moon!!! Congratulations to all the winners of the giveaway!

I just won one of Riley’s “Whipbird Lucky Dip” parcels- haven’t seen what’s in there yet, but I suspect that these will be the best opals I own when they get here.
@@PulitzerOpal So far, that’s the only shop that I can know I’ll be happy buying an item I’ve never set eyes on. I can’t wait to see what’s in there though,I have to remember not to stand over the mailman when he comes - it’s rude 👀
Very nice, always a pleasure to see a new video from you
I think your collection is spectacular. I love all the opals that you have shown, can’t wait to see them in their final setting. Opals are my birthstone and I would love to own one someday. You truly are an artist.
Your wife is a blessed woman, to have all those opals💓....and you of course! I've never seen black matrix opal like that, but I guessed matrix! Your teachings are very effective and most enjoyable 🍎
