I've had my Forza 300 for nearly 8 years and enjoy riding it as much now as the day I first bought it. A fantastic scooter and not a single problem in 20,000 miles. I've been thinking about a new Forza 350 but can't bring myself to part with the 300.😊
I never really considered a scooter until a friend suggested one, so I decided to buy a Honda SH300i in the beautiful metallic red... now I have 2 Honda scooters and love them. After having the matt blue Forza 350, but not particularly keen on the matt finish, I swapped it for the latest 350 in gloss metallic red... lovely colour. The Forza, with its (rather expensive) electric top box, is a fantastic tourer. Love the dash, and easy to keep clean too. If you’re not too concerned about image, scooters are an excellent option.
Thank you for the comparison review. I've been considering getting one of theses scooters and was torn between the Forza & the ADV. Having watched your review I'm now fairly decided on the ADV. Thank you, much appreciated. Your delivery, timing and down to earth comments were really helpful. As an ex pat yakker it was great to hear a homely voice.
That guy thought he was in a drag race. I have owned a Forza 300 and although a great bike it did not like uneven surfaces , the ADV is an all round improvement. Cheers for the vid.
I always see this guys stuck in traffic while I'm cruising around cars. And you might think "well but outside the Citiy,," no, the Sh 350 smoke the other 2 plebs bye miles. Insane grip and astonishing agility Yes, other two are really really comfy, but if wanted comfort I would have taken the car.
I ride a Forza 350 for two years now, across Europ, and very satisfied with it. I find it a bit heavy when stopped,if you loose your balance. Got to have strong legs. The good points are the storage room under the seat and the top box,and the electric screen. Fuel consumption is great.

Thank you for the comparison. The are very common in Thailand but don't see them so much in Sweden. Have thinking of trading in my old BMW R1100S to something more fuel efficient for daily rides. Have been thinking of CRF 300L but the ADV350 seems to be the most practical one.
I have the adv350 and have covered 15k miles a lot of motorway and London traffic. I am looking to swap for the Forza 350 now. Although the adv has “better” suspension it is way too hard and really rattles you as you feel every bump. I had the new forza for 5 days and it was much more plush and bearable. I preferred the wind / weather protection on the forza too. Another thing to mention is you have more range for leg positioning on the forza as the 45° footboard is longer and you can get a size 10 boot fully on it flat and stretch the legs further. Both the adv and forza have pluses and negatives but the softer suspension is an overall winner, although the adv handles better the hard ride wears you down.
Thanks, very interesting reviews. I bought my 350 Forza from Newcastle H this summer, my first scooter in 50 years of riding, and it has been a revelation. Storage room, weather protection, economy, comfort and remarkably good "go" when required - brilliant. If I had to choose again I would buy a Forza/ADV hybrid, as in, Forza screen with ADV running gear, dash and style. Now if you can fix that with big H I will be back to Newcastle for my second scooter!
I have an SH350i (see my videos) and you didn't mention the carry (curry?) hook! This allows you to place a couple of carrier bags between your feet. With a top box on the rack, I have similar carrying capacity to the other bikes. Another point worth mentioning is the flat floor makes it easy to use for people with knee or hip problems. I've done easy 200 miles of B roads in a day, so no discomfort for me. The acceleration is a hoot on the SH350i.
The hook is not such a great deal.. The other two scooters have huge spaces to carry many things. I understand the flat floor and the tank under the seat as a disadvantage.
Great review, I have the ADV now, and enjoy riding it. I do find the screen in the high position certainly keeps the cold wind of my chest, so it does make a difference. Brought the SH125 first, but it didn’t really do it for me, carrying a passenger made it a bit light on the front for steering. The only thing I would say, is that the seat is a bit hard, it would be nice if the seat was sculptured to clear the bits down below, as done on some bicycle seats. I have made a seat cushion to raise the bits down below so they are clear of bumps that travel up from the road, but there again I am 77 and need a bit of comfort. Great buy from Honda Bournmouth, delivered and ready to go, so big thumbs up to them. 👍
Nice to find this comparison. I'm considering the ADV or Forza 350 as well as an X-Max 300 for Italy. I'm thinking that a bigger screen on the ADV would do the trick, as your comments about the more comfortable suspension on the ADV push me in that direction.
Excellent comparison test. So many other RUclips videos are comparing Forzas and ADVs with traditional motorbikes. For me it is going to be the ADV350. This will replace my R1200GS which is just too heavy - especially once it is loaded up for touring. Thanks for your time and effort with this video.
I have a Forza 350 (had the 300 before that). It is a brilliant; commuter, tourer, all-rounder. Comfortable, economical, reliable. At one point I was thinking about getting a Honda Forza 750, but after reading the reviews I thought why bother? The 750 is heavy, expensive, chain drive, less storage space. And my 350 will cruise comfortably at 70mph all day. The electric screen is superb in really hot weather. No brainer, I'll stay with my 350!
I actually got the Forza 750, amazing bike (if you have a topbox), no wind, plenty of power and super stable. And doesn't use much fule. But I have to admit, I've been using my old vision way more, it's much more Nimble and easy to maneuver. Biggest issue with the Forza 750 is that I can't leave it parked anywhere, I always get unwanted visitors. Thinking about getting rid of it and buying a sh 350, but I haven't found the courage to sell the 750 since I love it so much.
Great review, I’ve just ordered Forza 350 after much deliberation as I didn’t know whether I’d be better of with used Forza 750, but simply put the 350 makes so much sense ie, cost. Can’t wait to pick it up probably Friday, love the style and ease of use with big scoots had a few Burgman 400, T-Max and SH300.
Hi Colin, I have a Forza 350 (and the 300 before that) and owned a Burgman 400 and 2 x 650's. The Forza is the best, so light and nippy. Fantastic commuter and tourer. I hope you are enjoying yours!
The adv is definitely the one on trend. If only they'd made it monoshock like its big brother. Those piggyback shocks look like an afterthought. Im an SH rider and love the physical dimensions. The others start to look bloated in comparison. Never really did like Honda as a bike brand. These days I dont really look at anything else. Good group review
An interesting review, thanks. I have the SH350 and it should be mentioned that although it has the least storage it comes with a rack, you need to buy a rack for the other two if you need a top box. I've put a Give plate on mine and can fit any of my 3 (different size) boxes on. I agree the suspension on the SH350 is poor, the rear shocks are way too stiff, probably ok with a passenger but I always ride 1 up. My bike is 3 years old this July and I'll probably swap it for a new one. I'll have a go on the ADV350 just to feel how much better the suspension how much more difficult the extra 12kg make it to push about. If I get another SH350 I'll fit some Hagons on it.
Excellent review. I've had my Forza 350 for 6 months and the rear shocks are terrible for heavier riders (I'm 95kg in all my gear) on all but very short journeys. With all the bad roads in UK, I soon get bad backache. So I'm looking to change my shocks and currently looking at YSS which get excellent reviews. Yes I did try the ADV 350, but clearly my test rides weren't long enough to tell the 2 sets of suspension apart.
Im exactly the same on my forza,im a big bloke,20st and the shocks are shite and soon leads to back ache, plus i think the seat padding is poor,so like you il be changing the shocks.really comfy otherwise 6ft 1.i do love the 90 mpg that it returns everywhere it takes me.
Since my original post, I looked into the cost of changing the front & rear suspension including labour and decided it wasn't worth it. Affects the warranty and insurance. So I have traded in my Forza for a 2017 Yamaha t-max 530 with just 12,000 miles on the clock. Looks immaculate. £6500 compared to £14k for a new one. More importantly, the rear suspension has motorcycle type mono shock with preload and rebound adjustments. Icing on the cake are cruise control, heated grips and seats. All in all a much better ride.
Subscribed mate. Great test. Liked the forza to start with but most testers seem to lean towardz the adv... good suspension is important, I like the seat height and electric screen on the forza..

I have the Forza 125, which is exactly the same size as the 350 Forza. I'm the same height as you and am on the balls of my feet. So if your going for the ADV i would try it for height first. I love the Forza and once i pass my test will be upgrading to the 350.

Great to hear that you are enjoying life on 2 wheels. I'm 53 and just starting out. If you had to choose between the Forza and the SH350, which would you choose Mark
Looking to get back on 2 wheels soon after a long time away. I was in a dealer's showroom today mooching around some 400 Burgmans and another customer passing by commented "If you're looking at those you should consider the ADV350". He has one himself and loves it. Hmmm ... Decisions decisions!
Having owned several SH 300's over the past 18 years, I would normally go straight for the SH350 but the low down lights dont seem to make you visible in city traffic - personally, I'd have preferred the headlight to have remained in the old higher position. Still can't decide on the Forza 350, though.
Seriously the Forza and ADV fitting a proper helmet under the seat is just a massive practicality bump over the SH. I have an ADV350 and I can rock up to my destination and stick my XL helmet, gloves and jacket under the seat no problem.
The SH350 is pretty grim-looking. I don't like straight-through footboards. I am tenuously interested in buying an ADV350 as a second bike to my Yamaha SCR950. Good comparison. Nick
I'd like the ADV350 but as you've shown the Forza 350 is slightly lower and fits me better plus it has the motorised screen. If only the Forza would get uprated suspension and eventually a full digital dash? We can only hope.
That would be the perfect scoot for me - the Forza, better weather protection and an electric screen - the ADV, better suspension/handling (and looks, to be honest).
I think this is what a look of us are struggling with, the good bits seem spread between the Forza and the ADV. To be honest I'd have the suspension from the ADV on the Forza and that would do me. The Forza has better wind protection, better screen and while not on trend, I think analogue clocks are WAY clearer and more classy than the cheap n nasty reverse LCD.
@@BikingChapTotally agree with you. My Forza has better wind protection than the ADV but maybe would benefit from the other front forks. Like you, I also prefer the analogue instruments.
I'm 180cm and for me the screen on the ADV is completely unusable. Highest setting directs the airflow to the top of my helmet (Shoei Neotek 3) and makes that setting completely unusable. The buffeting is horrendous, even with a pair of Alpine Roadracing plugs in the ears... The other settings, except for the lowest, will have the airflow hit me straight in the helmet visor, or just on the lower part of my chin bar, all resulting in discomfort in all speeds exceeding 50km/h. Other than needing a bigger replacement windscreen, it's a great piece of scooter.
I love the analogue dials on the Forza, I hate TFT screens, they make bikes look like outdated cheap nasty looking tablets, more plastic, far less pleasing on the eye, just my opinion. I guess I hate having screens in my face all the time, same in my Car, all screen and software and hardly any physical buttons and no knobs, very irritating.
@ToBeKindIsToBeAKing tft screens look like a silly cheap tablet, no thought or design just modern for the sake, just add a tft screen because they’re modern but modern doesn’t mean better back in the day they designed things to actually look good but the reality is tft screens are cheap to produce off an assembly line like a circuit board but, by all means make TFT screens optional. Bikes are just cheap ugly looking plastic now ultra boring.
@ToBeKindIsToBeAKing Although there are some like the Royal Enfield bikes, Kawasaki W800, Z650RS etc, there are some around thankfully that do actually look good.
Interesting I’m gonna get my first bike ever in the next few weeks/months and it’s probably gonna be the 125 forza and was waiting for the 2025 version to see if it will have the tft display and it does which makes me happy but I’m unsure now if i‘ll get the 2024 version or the tft one 😂
@@andulasis6283 To be honest, if I were you I'd just get a normal motorcycle and save a lot of money, get 2nd hand and the motorbike will be much more comfortable on poorer roads too with usually better suspension and larger wheels.
Great video thanks for taking the time. How did you find the feet forward position on the adv please, is it as comfortable as a burgman 400 say.....agree re suspension previously owned a sh350 absolute peach of an engine smooth fast good mpg but pathetic suspension same for forza rear and front shocks..... 13:20
My problem is i loathe these hard to read reverse LCD dashes and so gravitate towards the Forza but then i know I'll be riding it wincing at the crashing from the front end wishing I'd bought the ADV. There again if i bought the ADV i know I'd be hating the instruments and the screen and the lesser weather protection and be convincing myself the front end couldn't have been that much worse on the Forza...
Bought cv350 a 2022 yr. But i have a problem with the switch and ignition. Sometimes with ignition on and stand up etc.the bike doesnt start. and sometimes I can't turn the switch all the way left to put the steering lock on. Its so annoying.
How is the wind protection around knees and lower parts of the body? I assume SH is best in that regard because its just a slab of plastic in front. What about Forza and ADV due to their more sculpted front end?
These 3 bikes reach a top speed of almost 160 Kmh with a single 256 mm disc with two piston calipers in the front which is nowhere near enough to stop the bike within a safe and reasonable distance. I'd already decided to buy the ADV 350 until I took it for a test ride and at 130 Kmh a car at a distance of about 120 to 150 meters cut into my lane I hit both brakes and the bike took so long to stop that I swore never again. These 3 bikes are dangerous, seriously, I've been riding for over 30 years and I had a horrific accident in 1994 that almost killed me if not for the grace of God. Motorcycles are wonderful but they require an enormous sense of responsibility if you want to avoid very serious consequences.
Cool video. I currently have a honda cb650f. Thinking of downsizing as I mainly just commute. After watching your video, I think the adv 350 would be a good choice.
Would anyone know if is possible to have pegs installed in either the forza or the adv? I know this is possible on a x adv750 but not sure about the 350s. Thanks
@@amb9839 I think it’s a no as there is nothing to bolt the pegs to. The X-ADV has a space at the end of the smaller foot boards for the pegs and Honda has made the bolt holes there.
I did mention the SH I’m not a big fan of the shape or the size of the foot boards not much room. The big wheels make it handle more like a motorcycle.
Since you have it as one of the three scooters in the presentation, you should say a few words either positive or negative and this because some people might be interested to know. Anyway, thank you for your reply.@@Geordiebiketester
@@o00scorpion00o already got it on my Integra but wanting to 'upgrade'! Must say I'm becoming weary of the DCT with town riding and making the engine bog down and vibrate so perhaps might go TMAX route - any thoughts?
@@drdoolittle5724 DCT shouldn't cause the engine to bog down or vibrate, there is usually different modes for throttle response and how the DCT holds the gears for longer or change early etc. There are different versions of the DCT that iron out various bugs and the newer generation are supposed to be a lot better, I would love the Integra but it's too powerful for the A2 license here which must be 20 Kw minimum and 35 Kw Max, the Integra 750 is around 40 Kw. Tmax is CVT so while it's butter smooth some don't like that rubber band effect, it holds high revs and reduces as the speed increases. I recently got an old 2007 Tmax 500 and it's a lot of fun, first bike for me, it's in need of some work but I only want it for maybe a year until I get experience and maybe pass the test on it. The CVT will need a lot more maintenance than a DCT so beware of that, belt and rollers need changing on average around 20,000 Km intervals if I remember correctly.
That's my preference but it depends on priorities. If you do a lot of town work you may find the SH is more nimble and it's certainly easier to get on and off.

I was thinking of getting a Forza and upgrade the rear suspension just to make it a little better.
All the reviews I've seen it's the front suspension that's more of an issue.
I can put up with the front suspension on my Forza 300 but changed the rear to YSS. A great improvement for not much money.
@@splodge57 interesting, thanks!
Seriously the Forza and ADV fitting a proper helmet under the seat is just a massive practicality bump over the SH. I have an ADV350 and I can rock up to my destination and stick my XL helmet, gloves and jacket under the seat no problem.
Yep it’s mega my Father in law carries all sorts in the space on his ADV350
I love my 2022 SH350 Sport!
The SH350 is pretty grim-looking. I don't like straight-through footboards. I am tenuously interested in buying an ADV350 as a second bike to my Yamaha SCR950.
Good comparison. Nick
manny rider here in Philippines love to buy Forza but unfortunately it's not available in my country, so please Honda.
The ADV doesnt have a TFT though...its a LCD @o00scorpion00o
Interesting
I’m gonna get my first bike ever in the next few weeks/months and it’s probably gonna be the 125 forza and was waiting for the 2025 version to see if it will have the tft display and it does which makes me happy but I’m unsure now if i‘ll get the 2024 version or the tft one 😂
@@andulasis6283 To be honest, if I were you I'd just get a normal motorcycle and save a lot of money, get 2nd hand and the motorbike will be much more comfortable on poorer roads too with usually better suspension and larger wheels.
In sc anything from 150 cc up is considered a motor cycle and has to be registered as that.
Wicked thank you 👍👍
Usually "conventional forks" means non usd units.
This isn't the case with the adv
Around 80 miles per gal.
I have bought a pcx off you and will be across in two weeks to order a Forza 350 in red.
Cool see you soon.
Last size before the gas gage goes gulp gulp gulp.
@@charlieboyvespa8610 I can’t keep my feet too far forward as it bothers my back oddly I always go middle of the foot boards.
My problem is i loathe these hard to read reverse LCD dashes and so gravitate towards the Forza but then i know I'll be riding it wincing at the crashing from the front end wishing I'd bought the ADV. There again if i bought the ADV i know I'd be hating the instruments and the screen and the lesser weather protection and be convincing myself the front end couldn't have been that much worse on the Forza...
look at the dash on the kymco dtx360............excellent bike
Bought cv350 a 2022 yr. But i have a problem with the switch and ignition. Sometimes with ignition on and stand up etc.the bike doesnt start. and sometimes I can't turn the switch all the way left to put the steering lock on. Its so annoying.
How is the wind protection around knees and lower parts of the body? I assume SH is best in that regard because its just a slab of plastic in front. What about Forza and ADV due to their more sculpted front end?
Yep SH wins but the other 2 if you tuck yourself in they are rather good.
Ou Honda trás logo está adv Pará ou Brazil vai vender muito muito não tenho dúvida
Cool video. I currently have a honda cb650f. Thinking of downsizing as I mainly just commute. After watching your video, I think the adv 350 would be a good choice.
@@grahamduggan8476 very good choice due to the huge storage under the seat.
@Geordiebiketester I'm 5ft 8 with a 30 Inch inseam. Would I be able to get flat footed when stopped?
@@grahamduggan8476 yes one foot but not both.
Great video.. where can I buy sh350i??😊
@@SBATHORGOD most Honda dealers should have. If your local to us we have a new one in now.
Can't get the adv 350 in AU very disappointing.
Τhe sh 350 nothing? Any news? A useless scooter? Do the 16 inch wheels mean something? engine useless? agility stability speed nothing?
I did mention the SH I’m not a big fan of the shape or the size of the foot boards not much room. The big wheels make it handle more like a motorcycle.
Since you have it as one of the three scooters in the presentation, you should say a few words either positive or negative and this because some people might be interested to know.
Anyway, thank you for your reply.@@Geordiebiketester
Looking forward now to Forza 750 v X-ADV 750 test, please? Great review, thank you!
Need Honda to say yes to a Foza 750 and a X-ADV demo so I can play on them. Hopefully for 2024.
Can’t beat dual clutch. I’d say you’ll love it.
Forza is the winner
That's my preference but it depends on priorities. If you do a lot of town work you may find the SH is more nimble and it's certainly easier to get on and off.
Great review!
Idek why I'm watching this I can't own the Forza in the US
