I’m so glad to have stumbled upon a fellow homesteading witch. Homesteading and working with the earth feels so inherently witchy and such a lovely way to connect to our ancestors as pagans (if you’re also a pagan like myself) but I don’t often see it.
Also, I’m very sorry for your loss. I have also lost a parent and you’re absolutely right- nothing prepares you or makes it “easier.” Thank you for feeling like you can be vulnerable enough with us to share this hardship. ❤

First, let me give you, my condolences. I was in your shoes at age 25 with my Mother. Cancer and the suffering of a loved one is hard. Continue to take time for yourself, you will need it, sometimes when you least expect it.
Making my own bread is one of my next goals. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, advice and recipes. I can't wait to see what this year's journey has in store for us all.

No modern washer is designed to use soap. Soap hasn’t been used to wash laundry for over 70 years. Only clueless DIY enthusiasts use soap.
