  • As a little girl, Lacey's single mom struggled financially two raise to kids at 18. When Lacey was 10 her 3-year-old cousin was beaten to death by his stepfather. This started her spiral to depression and later drugs. At 16 she was an outspoken atheist searching to fill the emptiness with sex and drugs. When she didn't want to wake up anymore she planned to commit suicide. Her grandma sensed her plan and encouraged her to go to church with her. Lacey hated Christians and finally relented and went. Sitting on the back row, arms folded the preacher talked about a suicidal spirit in the room and God wants you to know that he loves you. She got up to leave an and an older gray-haired man stopped her and said God told me to speak to you. And this was the beginning of Lacey's journey to ultimately give her life to Christ.
