Thank you so much for the great tips on saving power for my phone. I recently switched from one plus phone to a Samsung and I got to admit my old phone was a power sipping beast. But my Samsung was not so great at power savings and I was trying all kinds of ways to make it last longer but no avail, thanks to you now I can enjoy my new phone for years to come. Thank you
I think another great battery saving tip is Background Usage Limits. Settings > Battery & Device Care > Battery > Background usage limits. Then you can select which apps use data and wifi in the background and how frequently. This saves a ton of battery as fewer apps pinging for data thus using less network and power.
Exactly! This one is missing in the video and I also noticed a dramatic improve of battery life once I disallowed apps that show up with high battery usage from running in the background!
Depending on what you do, adaptive refresh rate can save you significant amounts of battery life over 60 hz. If you do lots of gaming, then having it be set to 60 hz is likely better, but if you read a lot of emails or ebooks and such, the adaptive refresh rate will save significant amounts of battery. And even for the gaming bit, a number of games let you limit the frames per second, allowing your adaptive refresh rate to be set to that as well. While with the 60 hz it will lock itself to 60 hz no matter what.
@@AnhPham-nu3kh yeah because it's adaptive so it will be only moving between 1 and 120hz while scrolling or sitting or typing or reading or watching. It will still be helpful
This also works for the Galaxy s22/s22+ and people complain about the s22 battery life a ton but with these tips I’ve had at least 1/3 more battery life than before and didn’t even use all of the tips. Like from 8am till 12pm I still have like 30% battery life left, so much garbage and features that are automatically on when you get the phone and don’t even use/realize they’re on. Always do this with every android. No need for all these features to be on when you’re never using them. My new Galaxy s22 battery life outlasts my iPhone 11 pro’s battery by miles.

All honesty the zoom is amazing, definitely the selling point, because I took a pretty crisp photo of the moon that took up the majority of the photo, that's how good the zoom is. I have had problems with vibration, say your walking with the natural bumping going on in your pocket, that bumping overpowers the vibration and you miss a lot of stuff unless your ringer is constantly on. As for its size, I'm exactly 6 foot and I got some fairly large hands, even so it's a chore to hold this phone up. I recommend you not using your phone above your face when laying down because it's gonna hurt, bad, like it's really heavy. Gaming on it isn't much fun because hands start cramping in the pinkeys and wrist after a while. Also if your thinking of getting the galaxy buds pro.. don't, if anything get the pro 2. If you have any other questions let me know. Also battery life is not a problem, don't sweat attempting to make it last longer because it already goes through the whole day anyway.
One would wonder why one should buy the most evolved smartphone, if only to disable all the bells and whistles that are touted for it, only because the power consumption sucks so much on this device.
I came up with the idea for this video while I was on holiday. I was thinking, that if I knew I was going to be away from power for a long time. What adjustments could I make to double the battery life… that was the thought process behind this one.
You don't have to disable all the bells and whistles... he's just giving you a total list, and you pick what works for you...I have plenty of features still enabled, but he helps by showing you if it's something you don't use then disenable that feature.... simple... good work my man.
I always hear this with new phones, but really, a video like this is simply raising awareness. You can pick and choose to use what you use and when you use it, but thee phones have so much going and it's hard to even understand what control you have. Plus if you ever need to squeeze out longer battery (forgot to charge, travelling, whatever) i's nice to have a 5 min checklist in your head to do so.
@@WhatGear I wasn't saying that for you particularly :) Even at all. Just the reflection stemmed from forums being full of comments such as "yeah, if you want your battery to last reasonably well, disable this, this, and that. For starters." Which is a bit absurd.
I wish there was a app (like XPowerConfigs) which will list all these settings at one place (with explainations) to choose what we need and apply it..let me know if such app exists. This app will pull only the available settings on that device and list them.
I bought the S22 Ultra because of all it's features. There's no sense to buy a powerful phone and make it behave like a cheaper one... If the battery drains, I'll charge it again. By the way, there are a lot of powerbanks models to go for it...

Great tips bro.. I will save it to my fav list
@@Count-Zaroff now your just contradicting yourself cause the author commented to you... cause you said all the bells and whistles.
Thanks for these tips. My phone even feels lighter after toggling these
Where did you get this Wallpaper?
Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!! I'm looking for this video for a long time, thanks
Thank you for these tips, at least the volte will help a little😁
I wish there was a app (like XPowerConfigs) which will list all these settings at one place (with explainations) to choose what we need and apply it..let me know if such app exists. This app will pull only the available settings on that device and list them.
Best video for samsung phone battery savings.
Great video it's help me much more
Best battery tips I've ever implemented!🎉🎉🎉
I bought the S22 Ultra because of all it's features.
There's no sense to buy a powerful phone and make it behave like a cheaper one...
If the battery drains, I'll charge it again.
By the way, there are a lot of powerbanks models to go for it...
Yeah, I mean some of these tips don't make sense.
If I want a 60Hz 720p display phone, I'd buy a $150-200 phone, not a $1200 one.
true. i guess you can follow all of his tips except the screen (sure you wanna use 1440p) and the 120hz. the other tips was really great for me.

Till me please what is your theme name?
I think you have missed the enable Dark Mode feature present in S22 Ultra and Facebook, Instagram, and APPs as well which support dark Mode .. so enabling Dark Mode in Phone along and APPs could save power.
Dark mode was already enabled (and self-evident) in the video. It appeared on a Settings > Display screen: where it would have been useful to point it out.
You would make a great teacher great tutorial 👍
